This is a wonderful hometown place to eat with truly homemade tasting food and quick service. I went there for lunch today. I ordered baked steak, mashed potatoes, and Cole slaw. The food was served within 5 minutes. The baked steak is more tasty than you would ever imagine. The gravy is over it and on the mashed potatoes, delicious! The Cole slaw is the best I know of served in a restaurant! I decided to try the chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. The cake and icing were both truly homemade taste and scrumptious! The price was very reasonable also.

Went with the intentions of having the nostalgia of being in Timeout. Went inside and looked completely different. Seat yourself. Wasn’t very crowded at first but quickly filled up. Waitress was very attentive, however the kitchen was slow with breakfast food, but seemed if you ordered lunch it was made more quickly. Couple that sat beside us got there later than I did and had food approx 15 minutes before I was given mine. Reasonable prices for breakfast food. Some of the bacon was crispy while some of it was slightly undercooked and very greasy. Potato’s were bland, and the gravy had absolutely no flavor. Had to use copius amounts of pepper.
