I know it’s cliché but I’ll say it anyway… if I could give them negative stars I would. I went today for the fourth time for my son’s headaches, we’ve only seen Dr. Henry twice. The first visit was fine, we saw him and he prescribed medication. We had a follow up a few months later, we were told that Dr. Henry was on call so it might take a few extra minutes… WEWEREINTHEWAITINGROOMFOR2HOURS! Finally, we couldn’t wait any longer so we left. We rescheduled the follow up and everything was fine. We told him that my son was having trouble with the medicine so he gave us something else and it has worked well. Follow up was today, this time his brother and sister had to go with us so I took all three out of school early and drove the 45 minutes to get there. We got there 5 minutes early for his 2:30 appointment. We were told that there were two patients in front of us. 55 minutes later we were taken into a room and told that there was one patient in front of us. We waited in that room for 10 minutes and I just couldn’t take it anymore. I don’t understand how it took an hour to see two patients in front of me. I don’t believe them that that was the case. It’s just too much to ask three small kids to be patient in a waiting room for over an hour. I told them that they need to review their business practices, and stop booking so many patients if they can’t handle them. This has happened two out of four times that I wasted a trip out there and I will never return. The reception staff apologized but it was all lipservice. I could tell that they didn’t care and hear this all the time. One lady said«we always run behind«. If they know that, then why do they continue doing it? I guess I’m on the hunt for a new neurologist. Please do not waste your time by going to these people.

Horrible place. Very nasty. We saw Doctor Henry. I specifically said my daughter has a mild traumatic brain injury and they sent us to their so called epilepsy specialist. He was rude. He said«so your daughter hit her head, so what.» He implied I was stupid. He said«quit trying to be a pathologist. Do you know what that means.» He accused me of trying to make her sicker than she is. When I said I want her treated and she needs sleep, he finally prescribed something to help her sleep. She had several months of physical and speech therapy and accommodations through her college. She is still having symptoms and I wanted a doctor instead of a nurse practitioner, only he is a terrible excuse for a doctor in my opinion. A psychologist reviewed all the records I have and said she needs an MRI and an ER doctor said she needs an MRI and the nurse practitioner said she needed seen for two years. He didn’t say«okay mom I know you are worried and we will do what we can. When I said«I want her treated, he said«we are done here.» Very bad doctor. Very nasty practice. They turned away a little girl who had an appointment because the mom couldn’t pay two hundred upfront today. I know caring doctors who would worry about payment later. Patients don’t matter at this practice.

If I was just reviewing Dr. Lyons I would give him 5 stars hands down. He knows his stuff and has worked very hard to help me heal from an auto accident with a TBI. Tiffany his nurse also needs a 5. There are delays with calling and talking to a actual person, issues with medication refills, and getting triage nurse to call you back. Since this is nothing new from many practices, my review is actually on the Dr. My migrains, narcolepsy, and«seizure like» activity is activly monitored by The PA, Patricia and Dr. Lyons. If I have trouble getting through, I just go a different route and remember to be nice. We all want the same thing.

I’ve just recently moved back to the Winchester area and needed a neurologist locally for a very complex back issue that is to put it lightly«tricky» to treat. After reading her very impressive biography, I chose Dr. Katherine Gustin. I had been through quite a lot and it has been a hard road, so rehashing my story was very difficult and cumbersome. Dr. Gustin listened attentively as I went through the last 2 years. After I finished, she first showed incredible compassion and bedside manner– she told me I was too young to be having this problem and was going to do everything in her power to get me back on track. After seeing close to 15 doctors over the passed 2 years, that meant a lot. She recommended a treatment regimin for me that was stellar and put me in the hands of the owner of a therapy clinic. She insisted I see this owner and told her she would give her a synopsis on my issue, uniquely describing it. I was incredibly impressed with Dr. Gustin and her diverse, thorough knowledge base. With that being said, bedside manner cannot be taught, and she has this down to a «science.» I would recommend Dr. Gustin to anyone having issues that have not been resolved or have went without treatment due to obscurity. I thought doctors like this one were few and far in between nowadays. Her treatment and professionalism was a true breath of fresh air in every way and I’m so very grateful to have found her.
