I have been going to this Midas since I got my first car at age 16. I trusted Cheryl and the guys to explain everything, keep me safe, and not up sell me on things I don’t need. Now, almost 16 years later, the trust is gone and I have made the decision to NEVER come here again. I went there in August for my state inspection and they told me all 4 tires were shot and they needed to replace them. No money? Just apply for the Midas credit card! I went to Sam’s Club and their tire experts gave me a much different story. One tire was in bad shape, another one was getting there, and the other two were ok. Flash forward to yesterday, and I went to see them(against my better judgement) for an oil change. All the sudden, an older mechanic(who wasn’t even the guy working on my car), comes out and tells me my brakes are shot and I’m in danger. He quoted me $ 890 and, once again, suggested the Midas credit card. I declined, and then the new receptionist with the long curly blonde hair jumped right in and kept trying to up sell me on the brakes. I’m writing this review now in the waiting area of a different garage. They actually showed me the brake pads and explained that I’m in good shape, but will want to address my brakes around May, just to be safe. And the price? $ 200 less than Midas. Thanks for taking one of the honest, reputable car places in the area and turning it into a money machine that doesn’t care about their clients and uses fear tactics to make a buck.

Let me be the first to review this location. I was traveling through Pennsylvania and my nephews car broke down. I used my AAA to get a tow. That was my first time using triple AAA. good service from them. Well then the nightmare started. The car had a broken radiated. The tow company brought me to Midas an approved repair center. They told me the radiator would fix the car and I would be able to continue my trip. THECOSTWAS $ 800.00 I said omg ok but your sure that will fix the problem and the car will run. Yes I was told. I was never told anything else– I never saw a work order or anything. When I went back to pick the car up I paid and then they told me there were other issues that need to be fixed but the car should make it to Lancaster. WELLLETMETELLYOUTHECARBROKEDOWN5 miles down the road and it still sits there. Jason the manager said oh well there is nothing I can do for you. Can you imagine they do business like this. They rob people. Do not ever use this company they are rude and they lie!
