The owners are an elderly couple and are so sweet and so nice. They are very accommodating, very knowledgeable of the area, and very eager to suggest local spots to eat(if you stay here, do ask him — all of his suggestions became favorites) as well as places that I might be interested in, but were 15 – 20 min away a few towns over. The rooms were normal size for a hotel room. very cozy, very well kept and very clean. fluffy towels, cable, the things you’d expect in an inn(don’t think there’s wireless). The driveway entrance and exit were always shoveled at night and morning(which makes me feel bad thinking about the old guy maintaining it). Complimentary breakfast in the morning which was quite admirable(no hot food of course). They always made sure to be up to greet us on the first morning of our stay to make us feel comfortable around the breakfast room, but not in like a creepy way or anything. They came in and greeted us, chatted a bit, and left us to eat. It always felt like they had fresh pastries and things for us, and ran out to the store for fresh cartons of orange juice and milk and such for us. I always hope they didn’t do that just for us. There’s also a nice selection of board games in that room? haha. Anyway, if you’re looking for somewhere cheap to stay in the area with excellent service and a very clean and cozy room, check this place out! I don’t have a season pass anymore and won’t stay over as often so I don’t mind sharing = P. website:
