Went there recently and I was a bit concerned with the environment and how drunk other customers were. The bartender called last call and continued to serve VERY intoxicated people. All I know is I won’t be back although the karaōke seemed to be a blast the drunken atmosphere scared me off.

Just wanted to give a quick update to my previous review. The place is still wonderful in every way! However, they no longer do Open Mike Night, as it never caught on. But they do still have karaōke Thursday through Saturday. They still have a monstrous amount of songs to choose from, and they update their choices all the time. They usually have the latest hits as well as the classic and obscure. Same great hosts, as well. Definitely still recommended!

Kind of love this place. My boyfriend and I were bowling next door and his sister was going to meet up with us so that we could all grab a drink somewhere. I didn’t even notice this place when we first arrived, but as we were exiting to meet the sister in the lot I heard the enticing sounds of karaōke and decided that this was where we had to stay. A bowling alley bar. With karaōke. Packed with a variety of locals. Just the right level of dive but with really friendly bartenders and drunken, friendly patrons who were REALLY into their karaōke. It doesn’t get much better. I think I may have found my Summer Satuday ritual. :-)

This place is not closed. I just called(tax day, 2011) and they open at 4 p.m. The few times I’ve been there, the place served surprisingly good pizza and slightly above-average pub grub but at staggeringly low prices. In addition, the bar boasts some very cool and comfy retro bar stools(think combination patio/office chairs, if those chairs had been liberated from Spacely’s Sprockets), live entertainment(not sure if this is still the case), and many televisions on which whatever game is broadcast can be viewed. Pretty friendly staff, also, with a limited(but still OK) beer selection: all the basics, plus Guinness. I don’t know how the rumor got started that this place is closed but, as of twenty minutes ago, it ain’t.
