Food is prepared fresh after you order. Lots of variety, although they seem to have a few standard dishes they do really well. We ordered the Sesame Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, Mixed Vegetables, House Special Fried Rice, Steamed Dumplings, Shrimp Egg Rolls, Pork Egg Rolls, and Spring Rolls. It was enough food to feed a small army. The Sesame Chicken and the General Tso’s Chicken are very similar(ok, fine, they were basically the same dish, except the Sesame Chicken had sesame seeds on it). We liked both, but we would not recommend ordering both in the same order. Next time we go, we’re thinking about trying the Cashew Chicken — it looked tasty. The prices are moderate, but the amount of food we got will probably last the 4 of us many, many meals(at least 3 lunches and 1 dinner). When you think about it that way, we got an awesome deal.

I grew up in Windsor(class of 97′) and live in California now. I come back to visit a few times a year and we usually wind up getting take-out from somewhere local. Its great to see some new variety(China Star) from the usual pizza, wings, & italian. This restaurant is an affordable and efficient take out option. I enjoyed their sesame chicken. The mixed vegetable dish was probably my favorite — went well with the sesame chicken and some white rice. The pork dumplings(ground pork in a pasta pocket — steamed) were good too. Give it a try.
