Mondazzi Books

Nice place. Pretty much a warehouse for a mail order business, but I wasn’t there for the ambiance. Interesting stock. I was there to check out tarot cards and they had a number of popular decks on deep discount, dinged boxes, etc. Very warm staff (maybe they don’t get many walk ins?); they even gave my little son some free crystals. Worth a stop.

I visited this store yesterday and let me just say, as good as the reviews for this bookstore are, my expectations were exceeded when I got there. This store is HUGE! And it’s so much more than just a book store. They have crystals and stones, beads and jewelry making supplies, candles, candle holders, oils, incense, oils/​tart warmers, and of course books. I spent hours in there! And I gladly would have spent more time but they were closing! There’s just so much to see. And they have incredible deals! So many books are only 99¢ and any book priced at $ 4.99 is BOGO. And I was told that any book without a special price label is 50% off the retail price listed on the back of the book! Another cool thing that they offer is, let’s say you find a book for $ 4.99, but can’t find another book you want for $ 4.99 to take advantage of the BOGO, they will give you a voucher good for a free $ 4.99 book on your next visit! How awesome is that! The employees were so sweet and helpful, too! The owner introduced himself to me and we chatted for a while. When I told him how happy I was to find a book by Alan Watts that I had been searching for he then told me that he had a few more by him that weren’t out on display yet and grabbed them for me! Exceptional customer service. There aren’t many stores like this because it’s not like your regular bookstore. The books range from metaphysics, philosophy, eastern religion, holistic/​alternative medicine and so much more. I really can’t wait to go back!
Oh, and just a quick tip. It is a little hard to find. If you use GPS and pull into the parking lot, it’s the furthest door from the entrance of the lot. It took me a good 5 mins to figure it out so hopefully that helps anyone who reads this!

Great atmosphere in the showroom and excellent customer service. The staff is very helpful and informative when questioned about certain books and items.

I’ve been shopping at Mondazzi Books for over ten years now, and it actually hurt my heart when I realized that my considerable Unilocal influence hadn’t been properly exercised yet by giving them ‘the Scott bump’.
You want it? They’ve got it. They don’t have it? THEY’LL GET IT. You go by the storefront and you’re family– no experience on Earth can compare to chatting with these people face-​to-​face. These are people who actually care about their products, and are working day and night to make their customers happy. These are the people that you buy from and make a partnership with. These are the people that you enjoy talking to while browsing. These are the people whose hearts truly show in their customer service… okay, okay, okay, I know… you get it. They’re awesome.
… …BUUUUUUT I’m not quite sure that you understand HOW awesome they are, or how extensive their inventory is. Their storefront has only a modicum of product representation (yes, modicum is a word), however, it’s a pleasure to walk into. Their jewelry is breathtaking, and the pendulum from Sonja are works of art in their own right.
In a nutshell– their inventory is extensive, their customer service is exemplary, and their attention to customer feedback is prompt. Why are you still reading this review!!! Go shopping!!! NOW, PEOPLE!!!

Only downfall, they don’t serve any liquid refreshments, so if you are coming for the first time, my tip would be stop in the Target Plaza, Exit 39 I believe and pick up something before you ride 2 more miles down the road to this ‘hard to find’ Mondazzi Book Warehouse!!!
