Using my friends account for this review: I would not go to this place again. I expected a nice, relaxing experience and I left this salon feeling hurt, in more ways than one. I actually had the owner of this salon cutting and styling my hair so if this is how she treats her customers I shudder to think how her employees treat them. I’m writing this review a few days after the haircut, thinking, maybe I’m just being overemotional, but with time to cool off and still feeling so upset over the experience I felt I had to write a review, so here it is! 1. She scrubbed my scalp so hard it hurt for the next day. 2. I felt like I was being scolded throughout the entire haircut. She just kept saying, «You should have told us how long your hair was. I’m not going to be able to get all this done!» It was my first time going to this salon. I’ve never had anyone scold me for having too long of hair at any other salon, ever. 3. It felt like she was trying to talk me out of my haircut choice. She just kept saying, «That’s a very blunt bang,» or, «I don’t think I should do it that blunt,» or, «We shouldn’t cut the back like that because it’ll be too thin.» It’s like, I appreciate your insight but maybe just cut my hair how I want it to be cut? 4. She basically refused to style my hair, saying that it was my fault for not letting her know how long my hair was. I was basically ready to cry. I had never been to this salon before and when I made the appointment I know I told the receptionist that it was long, so what did they think? 5. When she did finally«style» my hair, she pulled so hard with the flat iron that I could feel the hairs being ripped from my head. When I left I ran my fingers through my hair and I had gobs of it coming off into my hand. Overall a very unpleasant experience. In the end I do not feel I got my moneys worth(paid $ 42) and it was just so stressful.
