If I could give a negative it would get a negative 5! We called to book 10×25, they would not take reservation or booking over the phone. We told them we are on our way. We were there with in the exact time frame we told them after renting a truck for them to tell us sorry I just rented it. What? Knowing we were on our way? Yep I am just here to rent them. He also commented he may have one Saturday coming up but won’t know and basically to get it we have to camp out and make sure we are in the door first. I asked why he couldn’t call back to tell us someone was there while we were on road going there… his excuse I don’t go through caller I.d. wow talk about customer service! So now we have a truck and no storage! This guy was beyond rude, no customer service skills at all, and not a care as we drove all the way there to get shafted with an oh well your just a number. He blames owners that is the direction he is given. The worst service, horrible policy, puts customers out then rude to them, no care to screwing the customer over. Beyond disgusted this is on our small business community. Customer beware to camp out to be first in or your wasting your time. mention we emailed for unit 2 times day before. Mike needs to learn how to interact with customers. Horrible customer relations is all I can say. Called on the phone cause was cutting it close to closing. Was rudely talked to on the phone. Could tell he wasn’t happy about me coming at 4:55. He was upset at the customer in front of me because his trailer lights weren’t functioning to get a trailer. Cursing how it was making him late to get off and actually made the customer wait at the exit gate for 30 extra seconds saying he was getting even and making the customer late. Then he didn’t want to rent me a trailer cause I don’t have a license but had a legal driver to drive my vehicle. Implied he saw me drive up at first and I corrected him. Then went into a five minute rant on how he turned«Mexicans» in when they come in driving his Uhaul with greencard. Saying how they go to jail and he gets paid by Uhaul a reward for each one he gets. My friend and I both felt his comments sounded racist. Then after all this I back my truck up to the trailer and the lights aren’t working. It is now 5:15 and Mike is losing it. Being very short and rude to the point I had to say something about his rudeness. Then I get a tester out and my trailer electronics are fine. Now should I have yelled and cussed like he did the previous customer for wasting MY time. Long story short, will never forget the unique experience Mike gave me that day. Every time I drive by the exit I think about his rude rudeness. He really needs to find another line of work.

I just rented a small storage unit here and Mike is great. He lives on property so he’s always there to make sure things are protected. He’s a retired Marine and runs the place like you’d imagine a retired Marine would, so your stuff is well looked after. He’ll call the Sheriff if anything looks sketchy, so watch out would-be burglars and/or mischief makers! At the time of this writing there were only 3 units left, now 2 since I rented one of them. The business name at this time is incorrect. It should be Self Storage of Windsor. I noticed there was a negative review prior to mine. Mike mentioned the place was previously run not quite to his standards, so maybe the negative review came from that régime.
