Working in the neighborhood, I had a dilemma when our company cafeteria all but shut down for renovations, due to reopen in September. I heard some guys at work raving about a cafeteria they had discovered in a nearby office park, a cafeteria that was open to the public. I checked it out today. It’s located in the basement level of a huge office building at 80 Lamberton Road. If you use the front entrance, be prepared to take a long hike all the way down the center corridor, down a flight of stairs, and make a few twists and turns in the basement to find it. If you use the back entrance, you’ll save yourself a lot of time because it’s kind of right there. It has a good sized salad bar with chicken and cottage cheese and surimi for protein. They also have an ordering line for hot and cold sandwiches, entrees and salad. Want to have breakfast? Yeah, they have that too. It really is quite a nice selection. I had a tortilla soup and a salad bar for about $ 7 –definitely not a bad deal. They have a very small dining area a few steps away. All in all, a very pleasant discovery…
