Sooo happy this place opened up in town. I came to the grand opening, where they had cookies and water to hand out, plus giveaways. It is smaller, and the owner also has a family business in HVAC type installation and repair next door. It is located where Bosch Motors used to be. Anyways, lots of great fabric brands here, at pretty good prices, the same if not better than what I have found online. I just love that you can come here, and see the fabric in person(is the color what you expect? the print size okay?) and buy it rather than take the chance online. And no she doesn’t have everything, but she does try to keep things that Walmart doesn’t have and I am grateful. They have classes too, quilting classes and bag tote classes, towels and pot holders… they try to keep it mixed up it looks like by offering a wide variety, with various skill levels involved. And they are priced well in my opinion. One Sunday I called, unaware, they usually aren’t open, and Nadine, the owner, answered and said that she was in the shop working on quilts(using the big automatic machine), so she said to come on by… It was awesome customer service, she was polite and happy. As I was getting my fabric, she said, that she wanted to tell me not to feel obligated to buy something just because she opened up for me. I mean, just so friendly. She also was so complimentary on the fabric choices I made and wants me to come in and show her my finished product. She said they are doing good and are busy, which relieved me, because I hope they are hear to stay! What a great addition to Winnemucca.
