good yogurt and toppings but the frozen yogurt often times comes out a little melted. The Love’s in Highland Park is better.

I do *LOVE* their peanut butter yogurt and have had my fair share of it this summer. My 3 yr old is also a huge fan of their french vanilla yogurt, although I’ve tricked her into believing it’s ice cream. I’d recommend coming for the yogurt, but eating your meal elsewhere because the rest of the food is pretty mediocre. My kids seem to love their food, but even the bite I had of mac & cheese was pretty so-so during a recent visit. And I thought I was the only cooking challenged person who could mess up mac & cheese. Grab one of the few tables outside or if not they’ve got plenty of seating inside. There’s a huge area in the back that I believe can also be rented out for parties.

The Mexican guy at the counter is one of the nicest and friendliest guys in Winnetka. This is a favorite summer evening stops, frozen yogurt with lots of toppings… Always a family discussion about which Flavors are going to be there. Always change them up. Worth a stop. Clean, well maintained, friendly and local. Try it.

The frozen yogurt is good and they have all the fixings you could want. But honestly, the people here are so nice and accommodating. It makes us want to eat more yogurt. If they are owners they deserve any and all business they get. If they are not owners and the owners are reading this… They should all get raises. Cheers to good service. And good yogurt.

My kids love Love’s, so we go here far more than I’d like. I really don’t think the frozen yogurt is that great — sometimes it has an odd, almost bitter taste that I wouldn’t expect from the flavors I choose. The chocolate yogurt is almost always too frozen, and hard to get out of the machine, and they don’t change the flavors very often. It’s clean inside, but not really comfortable.

Yogurts were too sweet and too expensive. I didn’t even believe it was yogurt(and I tried a no-fat no-sugar) and not a super-sweet real ice-cream. The good thing about this place is that you can fill your cup by yourself and the nice area to seat outside the café.

I frequent the Love’s Frozen Yogurt in Wilmette, but I thought I’d check this place out. I’m not that familiar with Winnetka, so to me at least, this place was kind of tucked away and hard to see from the street. I also went at night so maybe you should disregard that. I only ordered frozen yogurt, but the staff is just as friendly as the Wilmette location and it seems pretty similar altogether. I really should try their food menu because I’ve heard nothing but good things about it and they have so many healthy options. Be sure to try a swirl of the peanut butter and chocolate frozen yogurt with cookie dough topping. It’s my favorite :)

Winnetka can be very quiet on weekends so it is refreshing to find a place open even on Sundays. There is a constant stream of people coming by for their delicious smoothies and yogurts, but they offer much more than that. They have salads and sandwiches as well, something that should have even greater appeal in non-summer months. In the summer, try the peach smoothie or another refreshing treat. The staff is friendly and flexible. I asked them to skip the bananas and just make my smoothie with peaches, orange juice and vanilla ice cream, which was not a problem at all. Little tables outside offer a nice way to sit and enjoy the drinks or you can take advantages of the air conditioning inside. The store is right across from a tiny little park, which offers another spot for sipping the drinks.
