A great place to go to learn the craft of writing. OCWW, a not-​for-​profit, hosts a weekly speaker on some topic of writing from 9:30-noon each Thursday from Sept. through the first week in May when they host an annual Editor’s Day. This 64 year old, 200 member group has within it beginning writers all the way to very accomplished and published writers. They write in all genres and network sharing information each Thursday. Warm and welcoming it is a great place to sharpen skills and meet new people.
No one seems to be a stranger, even if it is your first time coming to the group. It is an amazing organization — never has it been so easy to find out information and have a good time.
