We visited this area on January 6th and as we were leaving(unbeknownst to us) our two year old daughter dropped her favorite stuffed animal, a black and pink striped kitty, which was a Christmas present from her Grandmother this year. We left town and continued on to Flagstaff, where our hotel awaited. It wasn’t until bedtime when she asked for it that we realized it was missing and not just in the car. Anyways, since we were certain the only place she could have dropped it was at Bojo’s, we decided to get up early and call to see if anyone had turned it in. This is when the manager, John, came into our life! Not only did he answer promptly and took the time to ask around, he also offered to meet us in Phoenix so she could be reunited with it immediately! Since Flagstaff received over 12 inches of snow during the night and more was falling, we decided to stick around the hotel(we are from Texas and have no idea how to drive in the snow) and not make John go out of his way for us. Then he offered to ship it back home for free! He had it in the mail within an hour of speaking to my husband to get our address back home. John really went above and beyond what we ever could have dreamed to happen, all with an outstanding attitude and awesome work ethic. Any business run by a man with the same willingness to go the extra mile for a stranger will always deserve 5 stars in my book! I would recommend Bojo’s Grill & Sports Club to anyone passing through or stopping in Winslow, it is definitely a great business with the best customer service and staff ever. Thank you again for everything John & Bojo’s!!!

The old owner Mary and her family always made myself and my family feel like her own… the food… well, as a professional chef ill tell you while it isnt fancy it is so very good… I hate to use the phrase but it fits here, food for everybody’s taste buds… we always come through this town just to eat here… the boys got mad the one time we were going to pass it by, and honestly I was grateful they kicked up a fuss… as I once again lived everything I got to eat. Bottom line… Make a bee-line for this restaurant if you’re anywhere near… you’ll be glad you did!

Just fine for a hungry stop in Winslow. The chicken tortilla soup was remarkably good as was the fried zucchini appetizer. I do recommend this place if you are hungry in Winslow. They also have a veggie burger on the menu and a few other good vegetarian options if needed. Winslow is very limited in dining choices and I was not disappointed here but it is really nothing fancy. Totally fine, really really friendly staff, very comfortable inviting atmosphere. I’m glad we stopped in.

We were staying at LaPosada Hotel, and we were looking for less expensive alternatives to the hotel restaurant. We saw the good reviews on Unilocal for Bojo’s, but when we saw the place from the outside, it didn’t look good. Inside was a little dated, but the food was very good and reasonably priced, and the service was very good. There were a lot of locals there, which is always a good thing. My family had hamburgers, taco salad and a chicken burrito. The serving sizes were large. Everybody was happy with their food. We also had fried ice cream and deep fried dough.

This is a nice, quaint little place along the old Route 66, within walking distance of the famous«standing on a corner» sign. The place is in an old building and looks rough from the outside. The inside is dated, but in kind of a unique sort of way that makes you appreciate times past. The TVs in the bar area are still tube TVs! Haven’t saw that in a while. The drinks at the bar are pretty cheap for the area, $ 3 for a 16oz micro-Brew and $ 2.50 for a standard american pint. Upon sitting down we were treated to complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa is made in house and it is excellent. We wanted to buy a 16−20oz jar of the salsa but the girl working didn’t think she was allowed to sell it to us. It was really good salsa! The server at the bar was quick, friendly and seemed genuinely thankful that we had stopped by. We were not overly hungry so we decided to share the Grilled Turkey and Green Chile sandwich with onion rings as our side. The sandwich arrived quickly and was grilled to perfection. The turkey was steamy hot, and the cheese and green chiles had melted together nicely. The sandwich had great flavor and just enough«kick» to make you need another beer. The onion rings were battered lightly and had good flavor that wasn’t overpowered by the breading. The portion size was average to slightly above average. All in all this is just a cool little place to stop and have a couple drinks and some good food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who happens to be around Winslow. After the meal, walk down the block to get your picture while standing on a corner in Winslow Arizona!

Great food, great service, decent prices. HIGHLY recommend their Green Chili and Chicken«Judge» enchilada style burrito. Stuffed full of white chicken spiced just right and smothered in home made green chili sauce! The servers are all local people and you could not ask to be treated nicer. I go there often and recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We came here on a whim while cruising through town to Stand on the Corner. We started with fresh made cherry limeade-it was perfection. After a bowl of some of the best salsa I’ve ever had and an order of their wonderful mini chimis with guacamole, we asked Mary, our server and the owner, what she would recommend for us to eat. She suggested the stuffed sopapilla with beef and the chimichanga with chicken and green chili. Let me begin with the stuffed sopapilla– it was absolutely wonderful. It was huge and plenty big for a full meal. The beef was fresh and it was topped with lettuce, tomato, and cheese and served with green chili on the side. The chimichanga-the glorious chimichanga-was the best chimichanga I have ever had. The chicken was obviously fresh and not from a can. It was topped with sour cream and more guacamole. The beans and rice served with it are some of the best I’ve ever had. If we are ever in Winslow again, we will definitely return to Bojo’s.

I’ve always enjoyed coming to this restaurant. The food is excellent and the prices aren’t too bad. The staff is usually rather friendly and welcoming. Bathrooms aren’t bad, but can be difficult to locate if you’re new to the place.

Was in Winslow around lunch time walked the streets, stopped in and had the Club Sandwich with fries, and a cold Bud, locals seem to frequent it and got chatting to some friendly folk at the bar ! Good stop off if your on the I40 and need a break with a difference, good bar food, cold drinks and good atmosphere old style.

While stopping in Winslow to be nerdy picture taking tourists we stopped for a drink. This restaurant was right across from«the corner» so it was easy to just walk over for a drink and a bathroom break. The restaurant looked pretty busy and since we just wanted some beer we sat at the bar. The bartender and local sitting at the bar were both very friendly. They only had a few beers on tap, the usual but also one local AZ beer which was good. They served us chips and salsa while we drank, not sure if they make the salsa in house but it sure was good.

Close to «the corner». Hamburger and fries were good. But the salsa with the chips is so good, I got a small to go cup and ate it for two days after. I wish they would bottle it! Waitress was very personable and always making sure our drinks were filled. The place was decorated with trophy elks and deer. So if you are anti NRA, go to denny’s.

My husband and I were directed here by a local for lunch, as we were passing through town. We arrived around 3pm on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn’t busy in the bar. After looking at the expansive menu, the Navajo Steak Sandwich really caught our eyes, so that it what we both ordered. The old waitress/bartender gave us high praise for our order and assured us that we had made the right choice. I’m thinking that the waitress/bartender is bat-sh*t crazy or something got lost in translation when we placed our order, but we both ended up with a dry, undressed steak sitting open-faced on toasted white Wonder bread — a far cry from the menu description of the Navajo Steak Sandwich. Being a card-carrying Native American myself, I’m pretty sure the Navajo would weep with what we were presented. First of all, I DONOTEATWHITEWONDERBREAD, second of all, WTF?!? It seemed that a ruckus may have ensued if we had tried to send out plates back, as several(what appeared-to-be locals) had arrived and proceeded to drink heavily and become somewhat boisterous. We were so confused and hungry at that point, we just hung our head in defeat, ate and left. The good things about this place: 1) the women’s bathroom was clean and 2) a new joke was born, «it ain’t no Navajo steak sandwich, but…»

Ordered the Navajo taco special. It was small compared to others I have had. Place wasn’t very busy, but we still got below average service. I have heard good things about their dinners, but my lunch was disappointing.
