Great little spot in Winsted. The service is excellent and the food is homemade to order authentic Mexican food. Drinks are great and the customers are a fun crowd. Great place to eat before a movie or night on the town. Plus to make it better you can anything to go.

My family has tried this restaurant on several nights during the summer. According to the website they are open until 9pm, on our first night we arrived at 7pm and were told they were closing because business was slow that night. On our second attempted we enjoyed a decent meal, but were completely ignored by the server/​host as she was enjoying shots and drinking with what appeared to be her friends at the bar and the place was extremely hot and the air conditioning was not turned on. Our third and will be my families last attempt was with friends visiting from out of state, we arrived and were asked to leave because we had a small child in the group and that violated the restaurants 21 years of age rule. Decent food, but unprofessional and unorganized fly by night operation, will not return!

Best Margerita in the NW corner and great Mexican food. Only two tables and a little tiny bar but worth the wait if you have to. the staff is attentive and friendly just the right combination to keep us coming back for more!

The food at Padres Place is always great. I give it a 4 star because they are slow, at everything, greeting, drinks and don’t be in a hurry for your entrée. Once the food arrives its delicious.

only place around to get good mexican. however, half the time you go there they are closed or closing. Eeek, methinks not!!! give me a break!!!
