Like taking a trip down memory lane. I felt like I was in England again, pay to rent a buggy (take it back get your quarter back). Take your bags, or pay, look to be 10 cents per plastic bag. Then go to the counter, and bag it yourself!
Store brand products out number name brand, but the prices are shockingly lower then your average store. They had a nice selection, and for the most part it was well stocked. Kind of odd to have an armed Police officer doing security, but he was super nice and talked to the kids.
The produce was amazing, not a massive selection, but had your typical goods. What made us happy was the price. We had just went to a local farmers market and they wanted 2.50 per lb for tomatoes, we got a pound and a half for 1.75, and didn’t look rough like the thiers.
My only complaint was signs. Lots and lots of signs in a small section making it confusing what cost what. Otherwise it was a great visit, so much so this may be a normal stop for us.
