Blade Runners Archery

Across the parking lot from Blade Runners pawn, behind a gun shop, next to a bar, and sharing space with some kind of screen printing company, this is not the kind of place you drive by and say, «hey I think I will pop in and browse around for a while.» But if you do happen to go in, you just may be surprised at what you find.
I am new to archery, so I took a recurve bow I got in to get ready to shoot. I know almost nothing about archery, so was really hoping to find someone helpful inside. Spencer is the man. Don’t let the tattoo on his scalp fool you. He is a gentle soul.
In a very low key way, he showed me what I needed, and even took some time to show me how to shoot.
He had to order some things for my bow, said it would take a week, and sure enough a week later I got a call from him saying my bow was ready. $ 45 later I was good to go.
NOTE: He doesn’t accept credit cards. There is an ATM inside the store, though I didn’t try it fearing high fees. Bring cash or your checkbook.
Also, he is knowledgeable about traditional archery, but the store’s inventory is largely compound bows for hunting.
