Bonefish Grill

This place has gone way downhill. Had a reservation on a Friday night for 7:45 and arrived at 7:00. We were quoted 20 – 25 min for a wait and I had to go up and ask them if they could seat us at 7:55. We get seated and the server comes out raving about a cocktail that was on special that included an edible orchid. At a different location in the past we ordered the same drink and they left off the orchid so we asked to make sure it was included. Naturally the drink did not and we had to wait even longer until our server dropped the orchid into the drink with an attitude and walked away. We ordered an edamame appetizer that came out with all of the entrees. Food was mediocre at best. We asked for one entrée without sauce and it came out incorrect leaving us to wait an additional 15 min. Needless to say this place was a colossal disappointment. Never seen such a lackluster display of service at this location and won’t be back anytime soon.

I have heard nothing but good things about bonefish but never have tried it and I am upset it took me this long to give it a go! From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and appreciated! Everyone was so friendly from the host to the bartender to my server! My server Kristen was the sweetest most attentive service I have ever had. I didn’t need for nothing the whole time. I took one of her suggestions off the special board that I have never tried before and it was one of the greatest fish dishes I’ve ever had. I had their seasonal cocktail the winter white Cosmo and let me tell you those things will get you in trouble they go down so easy. I started off with a bang bang shrimp because thats all I’ve ever heard about and believe me they are just as good as people say they are. We were celebrating your mother’s birthday and she brought her out of cheesecake and joined in with us to sing the manager stopped by to check on us at least twice and to wish her a happy birthday also. I truly felt like family from the moment I walked in I will continue to give Bonefish my business and let all my friends know if they’re looking for a great meal with even better service to go to Bonefish Grill

My first experience at Bonefish Grill will not be something I am looking to ever repeat. While the food was fine, the service was ridiculously bad. Just a taste of what went on:
*Despite having made a reservation and they being numerous tables open we were told we would have to wait 15 minutes although the restaurant was primarily empty.
* The waiter introduced himself by saying he was the unlucky one who had to come to our table and split his section. His attitude during the service was blatantly rude.
* The timing of food delivery lacked appropriate coordination such that the salads, came before the appetizer, and the bread much later. Our entrees had clearly been prepared to far in advance and were dried out from sitting in kitchen. The manager on duty apologized for teh timing issue and said the kinks should be worked out and covered our appetizers. However, the bad experience just continued.
* The waiter repeated tried to remove my seasoned drink glass despite the fact that I told him I was not finish.
* Upon ordering my sister requested the seasonal vegetable and he gleefully told her that they were out there was no more and she couldn’t have it and that a salad would cost extra.
* The waiter asked my mother if she wanted a spatula when she wasn’t ready for her salad plate to be removed.
* Upon delivery the food he muttered something offensive under his breath. My sister asked him what he was saying at which point he back pedaled and lied.
At the end of the torturous meal the bill came and we were not charged for anything other than our bar tab, however no manager came over and addressed why the bill had been discounted or apologized for the horrible experience. The manager on duty was back in the corner of restaurant standing around and certainly not helping to solve the situation.

My BFF and I went to Bonefish on Saturday night, Arrived at 6pm. We were told it was a 30 minute wait. Finally seated at 7:45pm. At 8:20pm we still had no food. Called the Manager on my cell phone to ask him to come to our table and he said he was plating our food. At 8:30pm we left starving and he chases us down in the parking lot and asked to give us gift cards. The gift cards were his business card. No explanation from anyone in there as to why their was a wait and why it took forever to get food. I will never go back. 2^nd time this has happened. The food is excellent but the service is TERRIBLE and the MANAGEMENT is TERRIBLE. Put a sign on the door saying you are short staffed or something and give an explanation and go around and apologize! Do something. He put us both in a terrible mood. Went to Firebird’s. Seated and Eating within 10 minutes.

Mostly seafood but also have steaks. My fav is their homemade macaroni and cheese, which is only on the kids menu so if you want that I’d also order a bang bang shrimp (which my dad LOVES and gets every time) or a steak or or something to go with it. Anyway so great restaurant go check it out! A little pricey and dress up a LITTLE don’t like wear work out clothes or anything you will be given looks

The servers are great and know the menu well. The food is excellent. We haven’t had a bad dish there. They will continue to get our business.

I love this place! I don’t know why they don’t have more stars. The service and the food are always great for me.

For a Sunday evening, it was not crowded at all yet we had to wait a bit while they «set up» a table for 6. By «set up» I mean they slid two of the many empty tables together.
Once seated none of us could read the menu as it is so dark inside. Those of us with our backs to the widow tried in vain to utilize the last remaining rays of the setting sun through the window (by holding up our menus to try and grab the light). Alas, the sun set too quickly and we resorted to using our phones to light the menu up enough to read it. The tiny table tea lights were useless — we had already tried that option.
I can only assume this is the choice place for online daters who have lied about what they looked like and have used a profile picture of Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie. As long as they meet inside (and not outside where the patio is well lit) I’m pretty sure they’d get away with it. ;)
Comments were made around the table to why it was so dark: Is this one of those food channel places where you dine in absolute darkness & the servers wear night vision goggles? How do they clean the place? Is it clean? We certainly couldn’t tell.
We placed our drink orders and also asked for waters with lemons. A pet peeve of mine is servers who a) repeat «water» when I ask for «water with lemon» or b) repeat «water with lemon» then neither brings the lemon. EVER. We asked our server again when the drinks were brought. We asked again when he came back to take our orders (remember that we all needed extra time to read the menus and pass around the specials menu as we were reading by phone light). The fourth time we asked the guy who brought the salads out and he did get the lemons for our table.
Now that bread, bread plates, and salads were on the table, we noticed that there were no silverware or napkins. When the guy came back with the lemons (remember this was not our server, but the guy who brought out our salads) we asked him for silverware. Once we got our silverware, we noticed someone else tell our server to place silverware on all the other empty tables that had none.
The food was good and came out quickly, however drink and water refills were slow and did not come until halfway through the meal.
We were surprised to see a charge for a «second side» tacked onto the bill. The server should have informed us of the up charge when ordering. When I asked if a side that comes with the meal could be substituted for something else due to a food allergy, I was told I could have any side I wanted; I was not told there would be a charge. Regardless of paying $ 20+ for an entrée that doesn’t even come with a salad, the customer should always be notified of other charges that are not stated on the menu.
On a side note, every other Bonefish I have dined at brings a credit card payment thing to the table when the bill is being paid. This location did not. I am not sure if this is a regional thing, but I do like having that payment method as your credit card never leaves your sight.

leaving here now from a bday party in the private area. my plain olé salmon 18.00 with water. she brings check the bill is 37.00. im like ummm how… my co-​worker had the chicken. amount on menu 15.00. her bill 37.00… i asked was gratuity included mean ass waitress with attitude says no. went to ask about the bill came back with a serious TUDE comes back and says upcharge is for the private room. but why make the guest pay… not the person with the room??? a 19.00 upcharge… seriously. hell naw you dont get a tip and you didnt even work hard. water refilled once. bread came way after meal… come on bonefish… really…

I’ve always wanted to try Bonefish because I love seafood. But I only really hear people rave about the Bang Bang Shrimp. I went one evening for a dinner with some friends. I was a bit late so they were already seated when I walked in. They were really accommodating to my friend who had a walk and sat it up front for her out the way. But from our 1^st interaction, I was over our waitress. She had the worst attitude. It was like she didn’t want to answer any of our questions or help us at all. She completely messed up my order and gave me an entirely different Entrée which I asked about but did not order. She said she thought I said thats what I wanted, but no one at my table understood that confusion as I specifically ordered the Shrimp and Scallop Fire Pot after she answered my questions about some other dishes. Then when my Fire Pot came out it was still wrong as I asked for some thing to be omitted. Each time she came back with an attitude until we didn’t see her anymore and all of a sudden a different waitress was helping us. It was just a mess. The food was just ok. Nothing for me to rave about, though I did enjoy the Calamari. I don’t think i’ll be back, not to this location at least.

I ordered some Bang-​Bang Shrimp to go last Wednesday. When I walked in, the hostesses were very friendly. One of them took my order as I waited for the shrimp to be done. As I waited, I was greeted by several employees, one who even asked if I wanted a beverage while I waited for my to-​go order. I was very impressed by the hospitality I received while just waiting for a to-​go order. Of course, the shrimp themselves were amazing.

I check Unilocal for everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. So when my father said he wanted to take us out to Bonefish Grill, I immediately pulled out my phone and tried to load Unilocal.However, I was having technical difficulties and gave up. And yet I am really glad that happened because based on all the other reviews, I would have gone in with mediocre expectations. But the experience my family and I had there was fantastic.
We had a reservation, but we had to wait when we arrived anyway, and being it was a Friday night, it was quite busy. While my family and I were chatting, a woman (manager? Assistant manager?) approached us and thanked us for our patience and said she would like to take care of some appetizers for us. We were definitely not expecting that, and my father requested the bang bang shrimp and some calamari (being I had never been there, I didn’t know what to order anyway). Moments later, we were seated and the appetizers were brought out almost immediately. I highly recommend the bang bang shrimp, and the sauce for the calamari was really good.
We mostly ordered from their seasonal menu, and I ordered the Lobster Thermidor with Mahi Mahi. It was amazing. So good. It should definitely be a permanent dish. We also ordered a few of the desserts, but we all loved the (again, seasonal) chocolate crème brûlée.
Overall, amazing experience, wonderful atmosphere, phenomenal food, and our server, Barry, was also a stand out. He was very friendly, attentive, and always a step ahead.
It is uncommon for me to award 5 stars, but there was not a single flaw I could find tonight. I highly recommend Bonefish Grill, and definitely check out their seasonal menu!

I had read the reviews online for this location and was not impressed. we decided to give it a try and had a great meal and great service. The manager is Nelson and I told him that I would post a good review. We will return!!!

We received gift cards for bonefish for Christmas so before doing our grocery shopping at Trader Joes we stopped in for dinner. I’ll start by saying while our server was friendly the service was slow. We ordered their version of the Moscow mule which was good but too sweet for my taste. We started with the corn and crab chowder it was seasoned well but was closer to room temp. We then both ordered the crab crusted orange roughy. Some of the bread crumb crust was burnt but the dish had good flavor and the fish was cooked perfectly. Overall it was an acceptable meal.

I have written an e-​mail to their corporate office to report my awful experience. They call me to ask me the detail. And I give them the full story, including the server, manager and everything. And they promised to get back to me for follow up, but I have not heard back from them.
And just like the manager on the property, they tried to bribe me with free food. But I declined. Because I am not here to harass the restaurant and get free food. I am more than willing to pay for good food and service. Beside, I am not going back there again, so I don’t need anything from them.
And I was surprised that after I posted the same on Facebook and many of my friends came up and told me the bad experience with BONEFISH! Even the ones from other town had a same experience. So, this tells me again, never to go back!

We stopped in for lunch, to use a gift card. The place is clean, but the server is average every time we go. I probably won’t go back, we have gone 3 times now, dinner, brunch and lunch. They aren’t horrible, but nothing special at all. We ordered the tacos for lunch and it was way too small for an entrée. I ordered the couscous for my side, and it was not, it was pearl pasta– not the same! Brunch was more of the same, it all sounds good on the menu, but disappoints once you get it. I honestly don’t see what the draw is here. Sorry Bonefish!

I would have NEVER picked this restaurant but my dad suggested it, so this is where we went. I am 100% NOT a seafood fan (but he is).
I understand this is BoneFISH grill but I wasn’t overly impressed with their non-​fish options. Yeah, I could spend $ 25 on a steak but that’s too rich for my blood. I went with the Kobe Beef burger and a side of steamed broccoli. I have no complaints. The burger was cooked perfectly and I loved the seasoning on the broccoli. Although, they did not have yellow mustard… they had honey mustard but no «regular» mustard. Weird. Anyways, my father enjoyed Fish and Chips and a Sam Adams Seasonal brew.
The atmosphere was a little more «fancy» than I thought it would be… I felt a bit out of place with my 8 month-​old daughter there. She was fussing a bit at the beginning and I felt like we were annoying the people around us. I don’t like to have that feeling while being out. I guess I wouldn’t recommend this place for young kids but would be great for a date night.
The server was good. He might have been new??? He checked on us frequently, perhaps encroaching on a bit too frequently? None-​the-​less, a good job. I appreciated all the servers keeping my water glass full as well.
Personally, I think this place was a bit too pricey for me… but also considering I am not a seafood fan, I doubt I will be back but would recommend to seafood lovers.

My favorite chain. And I don’t eat at chains. I love seafood, I love bonefish grill. I love bang bAng shrimp!
There’s not much to say. Every restaurant looks the same. The food tastes the same and I think it tastes wonderful.
Sadly they took the beet salad off the menu, but es okay, so many other yummy things. I really love the bang bang tacos and the salmon entrée with veggies.
The service is always on par and they cater to the kids which makes the experience more enjoyable for all.

Ok, I give up. This place can be really good, but most often it’s just bad. On today’s encounter, the food wasn’t the problem, the service was the issue. Or, rather, the lack thereof. Our appetizer was forgotten, we never got bread, we waited forever for the opportunity to order another drink, and our desserts were so slow coming out. No manager checked on us, nothing. The food… when we actually received any of it… was good. Silly me, when I go out to eat I want good food AND good service.
