Out of all of the fast casual places this is one of my favorites. Some want to yell at you when you walk in. So it appears I, like the groundhog, frighten easily. But no yelling at chipotle! Typically the line is out the door but due to negative press as of late on food safety it is empty. The issue was no where close by and it has been a bit, let’s go. I always get the burrito, white rice, black beans, steak, sour cream, cheese, roasted corn, And lettuce. I do opt for the chips each time. The chips are awesome, not sure if is lime or what, but I love they are just enough salty, and typically pretty fresh. I’ve yet to figure out where the heat in my selection comes from. I’ve eliminated the cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and tortilla wrap. As I’m almost sure they have no spice to them… could be wrong. Some days can be a little warmer then others, today was a mild sort of day. I love, love, love how the steak is cooked. It is the right temp for me medium rare to medium. Most places would have cooked the steak to death, but they have done it justice. My biggest complaint is the noise, the restaurant is always soooo noisy it is odd how you can’t hear anyone at your table, but are following the group three booths back. The music is insanely unnecessary as all you hear is this thumping noise every once in a blue moon. I love coming here for lunch, quick in and out even when the kind is out the door. Friends say it is pricey, but the quality, and quantity you get its hard to beat. Glad I didn’t fall for the negative press and went as I had a great lunch!

Lunch time is the worst to go! Lines are extra long. But other than the food is always on point! I always get chicken! The steak is weird I’ve had it a few times but I gave up on it cause the texture is gross. But I get the burrito with rice no beans, chicken… Peppers & onions, pick, sour cream & cheese!!!

Ordered online and still waited 15 minutes for my order when I got there. Literally would have been faster to wait in line because they didn’t even prioritize my order once I got there. Not even as much as an «I’m sorry» for not having my order ready.

I have been to many chipotles and have always found the employees to be friendly and able to carry on a conversation. This was the first one where I found the employees to be absolutely miserable and unfriendly. I will not go back.

My friend and I tried Chipotle yesterday since everyone is always saying how good it is. Pulled up and the first thing we noticed was how packed it was. Soon as we got inside, we noticed a long line and not many tables empty, so I quickly grabbed one before we ordered. This place is very fast pace. Figure out exactly what you want before you get in line because you won’t have long. Got to the counter and it was a little overwhelming since it was my first time. I ordered the bowl with chicken, brown rice, salsa verde, lettuce, peppers n onions, and pico. I wanted tortillas on the side, but they forgot to give them to me and I didn’t realize til we were already at the table. My friend ordered the same thing as me. My son got the chicken taco kids meal with brown rice and peppers n onions. With drinks and 3 meals, it came to around $ 22. Not too bad if you’re in the mood for real Mexican and don’t have a lot to spend. Much better than taco bell(obviously) but not as good as if you were to go to an actual Mexican restaurant. It is considered fast food, but it’s a step up in my opinion. The ingredients were fresh and the chicken was nicely seasoned. All-in-all, it was a decent meal. Probably will be back, but next time I’ll be getting tacos.

While living in Winston Salem, Chipotle was always my post-mega workout treat. Like other reviewers mention, it can get very crowded and at times it can take 10+ minutes before you get to the front of the ordering line. So be sure to bring some good company for that line! I always get a burrito, so I cannot comment about the quality of the other food items. One thing I learned recently is that every Chipotle tailors its food seasonings to preferences of the community. I liked the amount of spice and seasonings at this Chipotle. The food line staff are accommodating when you ask for extra veggies/salsa/dairy products, which is really nice. They even will double wrap your burrito if the fillings get out of hand. Of the half-dozen times I have frequented here, only once did they mix up my order and charge me for double meat when I got ½ and ½ meat; since they are really generous with their portions, I let it slide. The seating area can go from wicked empty to almost no seat to be found. I always find the eating area and bathrooms not impeccably clean. I may be the only one who has this issue, but one humorous issue is that the sink in the women’s bathroom has really high pressure + an angle on the sink basin that can result in water splashing back on your mid-section. I am like an old-dog that can’t be taught new tricks, so every time I end up getting splashed. So watch out for that. Overall, I love the food and the service is — at best– OK; but as it is the only Chipotle, it suffices.

My first time trying Mexican food in America! It was great, though I need to be more familiar with the names.

This place is always packed that’s because the food is awesome. I usually get the steak bowl. You get a good amount for the price you pay.

Service was quick but sloppy poorer more liquid on my burrito than beans the chips are overly salty and stale and I had go back since chips and salsa comes with a bag that had only 14 chips in it I kid you not. The steak was cold on the burrito and the server when I went back to get a second bag which was a larger bag of chips seemed like I was bothering her for asking for chips. I won’t be eating here again. Also my sons quesadilla had more cheese on the wrapper than in it they pressed it so tight the inside was the tortilla mashed together and cheese was only along the very edge. Go some where better like moes up the street or a real Mexican place.

I love chipotle! I always get a burrito bowl because the burritos are too big to eat. This is a busy chipotle but can we blame them for being busy? It’s good food. If you don’t like waiting in line then download the app and order from there then pick it up at the counter. Easy solution. I have noticed that sometimes there is more fat on the steak and it’s kinda gross. Hoping they will fix that.

Since this is the only Chipotle in Winston this place gets crowded. Its actually kind of fascinating to me how many people want to eat dinner at Chipotle(like literally a line out the door). I think Chipotle is good once and a while, I go for the tacos since the burritos are so huge and just ultimately not my thing. I will say their chip game is usually on point! Since they cycle through so many of those things at dinner time you usually get a warm, crispy, and nicely salted batch. I usually add in a side of guacamole which can be a bit hit or miss. I wish they offered queso! If you are in a super rush at dinner time this may not be your best bet due to the lines, but maybe I just got unlucky the few times I have been. It is definitely a filling meal you will not leave hungry.

Chipotle is not the cheapest fast food option but the cost is made worthwhile by the flavor and quality of the ingredients. I ordered a steak burrito bowl. The steak was the best part, tender and spicy. The beans were very wet though and made my bowl soggy. I also liked the rice and salsas. I had the mild and corn. Both tasted great. I ordered sour cream and lettuce which did not overwhelm the bowl. Service was fast and the store was clean and modern.

Very simplistic review: You can never go wrong with Chipotle. Great, quick service despite being the lunch rush. Got a chicken bowl and chips to go. It was FANTASTIC! The chips tasted so fresh and we detected a slight«lime zest» on the chips today. Delicious!!! A good value for the quality of the food. This is one of my favorite«fast food» restaurants. I consider it «good food fast». I’ll definitely return!

Prices to high. Food amount low. Taste was okay but the peppers and onions were still raw not cooked long enough. The crew looked miserable that’s a sign right there. I use to be a manager at a chipotle and I must say, this chipotle could use some help. Maybe I should manage this chipotle and revive it. Two stars only because the taste of the food was okay but could use work.

I love chipotle but I hate the line! It seems like no matter when you come it is crazy! It’s really tasty– I prefer the Barbacoa and I love the corn salsa! The lime chips are great, too. The portion is large so I normally get the bowl and skip the tortilla.

We frequent Chipotle because it’s the one place we can get a gfree Mexican/Southwest flavor. One thing I miss a lot since going gfree is a Mexican restaurant. My favorite is the burrito bowl with chicken and then load it up with all the other goodies. They also offer soft shell corn tortillas but they use the same hot press to warm them as they do for flour tortillas so Celiacs should steer clear of that option or ask them not to warm it. Celiac friendly! You can eat gluten free, dairy free and have vegan options as well.

How can you not like Chipotle? It’s a chain so I’m sure you’re already familiar. I’m just here to tell you that this one is on the up and up and holds true to the Chipotle name. Try the new patron margaritas, I really enjoyed them. Don’t try any other burrito joint in this town, it’s a waste. Chipotle is located next to a Jimmy Johns and a Cold Stone Creamery so it’s a good stop for grub all together.

Chipotle is a great chain. A good business model that could help set the standard for fast-food restaurants in the future. Organic food and pastured meats. High quality burritos and tacos. Pretty decent salsa selection. And they sell margaritas and beer! Only downsides: gotta pay extra for chips and salsa and a small guacamole is a couple bucks. So, a burrito plus a side of chips and salsa will set you back about 10 bucks. Worth it if you are food conscious, but not the cheapest fast food around. They did struggle mightily on a catering/large order(24 burritos), but made up for the shortcomings by discounting the meal. That was appreciated even though I was incredibly annoyed they got my order wrong. 4 stars for fast food? You bet.

With great customization options, superb quality control, excellent portions, and quick, friendly service, Chipotle satisfies on so many levels. In case you don’t know what Chipotle is, it’s basically a «Customize Your Own Burrito» joint. For $ 7 you get the option to add a great variety of ingredients. Here’s a quick link: Chipotle’s only has a few downsides and one is that their establishments can feel a little too cold and modern with all the steel. The seats are always hard and the tables are always a bit too small, unlike the soft cushioned seats you might find at the more ubiquitous fast food restaurants. Secondly, $ 7 for a burrito is pretty expensive if you don’t really pack it in with every single ingredient on their list. Thirdly, their prices for chips and guacamole are also really expensive. It’s quality food but it’s not a great value like an In-N-Out Double Double.
