Parking is ridiculous in this apartment complex. I would choose not to live here again just because there is no where to park and then you receive a $ 250 ticket if you make your own spot. Management up-charges you on everything on top of the expensive rent each month and there is no reasoning with them.

Currently living here, the worst experience I have ever had. They charge you for«overages» every month and do not allow you to see the bill. The maintenance is sub-par at best, it has taken multiple phone calls for them to fix the appliances in our house. The furniture is equal to that of a dorm, and the air filters have never been cleaned. The personnel are difficult to deal with say the least, and will actively avoid your phone calls and emails. The only positive about living here are the shuttle drivers, Thomas and Allison. If you have the chance to live anywhere besides here — PLEASETAKEIT. I would never live here again.

I lived at Deacon’s Station for a year, and my experience was mediocre for the price. The furniture is not the best quality, and they didn’t fix it when requested. However, upon moving out I was not unhappy with my experience. That soon changed. I received my deposit back, but found that nearly 30% of it had been kept by Deacon’s Station for items such as dust on the floorboards, dust on the fan, and mold in the toilet. When I called to try to understand why it was withheld, I was told by one of the office employees that it had not been inspected for 3 weeks after my move out, which made sense because each of the«damages» were time related and could not be helped because I did not have the keys anymore. When I called back to speak to the manager about refunding part of my deposit, she denied that it had been 3 weeks before they checked it. She said that it was their practice to take out $ 60 for cleaning unless you could provide a receipt for a cleaning service. Additionally, they took $ 40 to paint the bedroom and $ 40 to paint the common room. She told me each of these charges were common practice. I believe if this is their practice then it should be stated in the lease and not taken out of a damage deposit as it is normal procedure when flipping an apartment for a new tenet. Finally, after learning that they had no photo evidence of the«damage» in my apartment, the manager told me that she would refund half of the cleaning charge to me. It has been 11 weeks, more than 8 phone calls and I haven’t seen the check.
