To begin my experience I initially called and asked if they would be able to print a poster for 100 cm x 70 cm for an international conference. They said yes so I proceeded with the process online. Since it was a special request they were suppose to call me & verify how much it would cost. 2 hrs later, I call them & they never even looked at my order. They said they would need to wait for the manager to call me back, & it shouldn’t be more than a 10min wait. I wasn’t feeling lucky so I got in my car & drove 20mins to this location (btw — they never called) and decided to talk to them in person. I had to convert from cm. to in. because they didn’t know how to & their ‘computer wasn’t converting it’ for them. Then they told me that I would have to wait until 3^rd shift to come in because they didn’t know how to do it! So I told them to call me as soon as it was done, they said they would. Hours later I called to check the status & it had apparently just been sitting there for hours done. I was so happy to actually get my poster I didn’t really give it a good look when I picked it up. When I got home I noticed that when it had been printed all my graphs were completely messed up configuration wise! Never going here to print a poster again. It took me hours to fix the graphs after I already paid $ 60+ for a professionally print job!

Dealt with Layton today at this location. had a ton of stuff to ship back to my company due to a layoff. Layton was wonderful and resourceful to work with. Very patient and customer focused.

They were nice and trouble shot a problem I had with retrieving a shipping label. I was able to get in and out pretty quickly.

You know how hard it is to try and print a full bleed document with the general FedEx online system? Well, impossible! The system doesn’t allow you to update your file at all and can only use it as is, which included a white border that isn’t suppose to be there. I remember at my last job we use to just email in projects, well, now I know why. So much easier! I called them up and explained the situation, they were far nicer to me than the person at UPS who hung up on me. He told me to just email it in with some general info, and include my phone number. Once you email it in you get an auto reply back saying if you do not hear back within one business hour in regards to your project to give them a call. I waited a little over two hours and then gave them a call. The person who picked up apologized and said they were crazy busy with email orders today and I was next on the call list. He asked me a few questions and we figured out how to get the full bleed at the cheapest option. It was actually to go up to a random not standard paper size and then they would just trim it. Problem solved! I picked up my flyers the next morning and they were exactly as expected.
I have also shipped things here a few times. If there is a long line they always make an effort to acknowledge you and let you know they will be with you as fast as they can. I will be heading back here for my printing and shipping needs.

Nothing exceptional about Kinkos in Thruway shopping Center.
Copies I’ve had made here were just ok. Can be done cheaper or better other places. Not worth the cost, but the convenience of the location seems to be why I return, not the quality of the work nor, the blank stares on the faces of the staff when asking for help or advice on a print job.

My office has used this Kinkos to print a lot of projects recently. Projects with a lot of pages… like thousands and thousands of pages. For black and white stuff that you can’t or don’t want to do yourself, you can’t go wrong. Their color copies are pricey — but the copies of my pics looked better than the originals.
Their coupons are a little deceptive though — I brought one in when I dropped off my order, but I wasn’t able to use it because they had already given me some kind of «mass-production-bulk-quantity-this-is-like-a-whole-tree’s-worth-of-paper» discount.
On another occasion, I used the web uploader to send a .pdf color document to be printed. I looked at the document on my phone, macbook, office computer, and even printed a color proof to make sure everything looked right before sending it. When printed by Kinkos, the color looked nothing like what I was expecting — and then the clerk used every excuse in the book to explain the difference — it was my eyes, it was my computer, it was the lighting in the store. When I wasn’t buying it, he mentioned that a tech was coming to adjust the machine, because there were some issues with it. I left my job with them to redo and when I came back, it still wasn’t right. Instead of having a greenish-​yellowish streak on the same edge of every page, it had a greenish-​yellowish tint throughout the print. I didn’t have any more time to wait, and had already been back to the store 3 times (they had called once to say that my order was ready and it was not), so the manager, Leyton, refunded the cost of my project and we went our separate ways.

Dear FedEx Kinkos staff,
If you can take your eyes off of whatever glossy things you are printing out, please do pay attention to the computer stations in the back corner of the store. It’s not cool when I’m getting charged by the minute and the guy next to me asks me for help because you aren’t around. I could feel his little kid’s judgmental stare through my back.
And why do black & white word documents cost 49 cents/​page? I was printing out 7 pages from my email account and it cost nearly 5 bucks including internet usage!
Thanks for giving me some coupons, but when am I going to next spend $ 150 in printing to get $ 10 off???
