As good as it gets. They have great beer, great people and a great atmosphere. Very reasonably priced and they truly want you to enjoy yourownself. They’ve held true with what made them popular with no pretentiousness. Grab a Hoppyum and enjoy.(If you’re lucky you’ll hear the Beatles while you’re relaxing)

Love spending time at the taproom. It’s a very different atmosphere than the downtown pub — the board games are a nice touch, and there are fun events including live music and yoga. It’s great that they have a good truck most nights but I do wish they had more snacks on hand.

This location is different from the one downtown. It’s still foothills beer but more their local brewing location that they’ve expanded to include a bar. Here they can offer tours of their brewing facility which is nice and you don’t get this at their downtown location. However, they don’t have a kitchen on hand so their food selections are pretty much non-existent… But they do have occasional food trucks that come. The beers that they have on tap are great! The selection is huge & the staff are very friendly & helpful. The night I went they also had a live band which was a lot of fun! Great little gem :-)

Love the beer and food. 5 stars all the way. But server was confused, inept, and had no idea about the product. Asked about beer she said she didn’t drink… Come here, it’s phenomenal, but make your own decisions, don’t ask for help.

I absolutely love this place. It’s like a second home. They have limited edition beers that you can’t find in stores. I got to try the scotch ale today and it was fantastic! This place is fairly new so not crowded as expected but I am OK with that. They only serve beers, which is the way it should be in the tap room! They do, however, have food trucks sometimes. They also fill growlers at a very reasonable price. Very friendly staff.

Awesome, awesome! Love this pet friendly, board game offering, beer tapping tasting room! We liked it so much we went twice last week and my husband has already suggested going again. The staff are so nice, especially this one lady(I should learn her name on my next visit). Its an awesome concept for a brewery and I hope it gets all the customers it deserves and stays open for a long long time :) see yall soon

The new Foothills Tap Room is great! Love the re-purposed wine barrels and atmosphere. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I think Foothills Brewing has really stepped up their game with the addition of the tap room and I look forward to returning with family and friends to enjoy the food trucks, taps, and events. I’ve become a fan of Foothills beers recently especially Jade, Sexual Chocolate, People’s Porter, and IPA of the Month.

I love the open door atmosphere here! It’s very minimalistic, yet rustic in charm. It’s a great place to sit and relax on the desk outside or talk to the bartender about the IPA of the Month. I liked the brewery tour, but found it to be more of a warehouse tour vs learning about the brewing itself. It lasted about 20 minutes. They have chips and water if you don’t want beer, but most times also have a food truck from various vendors on site. They do have games to play such as corn-hole. If you want to sit and enjoy a drink, definitely the place to go, but not much to offer if you also want to enjoy food. For this, I would go to their Pub downtown. The food is amazing and so is the staff! My personal favorite is the Carolina Blonde!

Foothills has really hit the mark on their latest venture, filling a previously unmet need in the Winston-Salem area. Foothills brewing began ten years ago in Winston-Salem as the city’s first brewery, reinvigorating the 4th street corridor downtown. In 2011 they acquired the full portfolio of Carolina Beer & Beverage, gaining such standouts as Carolina Blonde, Frostbite, Pumpkin Ale, and necessitating a production expansion to a facility in the Stratford Industrial Park. It’s worth noting that Foothills started at roughly the same time as Greensboro’s Natty Greene’s brewery, which followed a similar path in opening a larger production operation with an attached taproom. Foothills has started out of the gate with an expansive taproom that equally seats patrons inside while providing great seating options outside. The biggest difference between a brew pub and a taproom is the addition of food. Foothills has filled their taproom with many pre-packaged goods like chad’s carolina corn and Rosa’s Kitchen cheese crackers. Take-out from various nearby restaurants is also available. The taproom features the full lineup of standard Foothills beers as well as hard to find items like the footmen series beers. At a recent visit in June this included a Footmen Series American Wheat(brand new) and Frostbite(usually available only in winter). Service at the bar is exceptional, with 2 – 4 workers typically working the taproom on any given day. At their downtown brewpub, food orders can make it very difficult to order, even at the bar, however this problem seems to be solved entirely at the taproom. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their product. The taproom also offers a cold case with bombers and six packs of Foothill’s usual brews and a small selection of merchandise(to be expanded later). After you’ve picked up a pint, you can choose your seating with the expansive inside or the outside. Both feature games like cornhole and jenga, and when the weather is cooperating all doors are open to create a large flowing space. The taproom remains largely undiscovered, with some weekend crowds numbering only in the low double digits. This impacts the closing time, which seems to differ each weekend depending on the strength of the crowd. I suspect this will change once the word gets out. For now, stop by and the enjoy the place largely to yourself. With the brewhouse next door, you’ll be hard pressed to find a fresher pint of Foothill’s beer.

What a great place to enjoy fabulous beers with friends. Was surprised to see all the beers that were made available, some out of season, some in season. Anyone could be happy with the beer selection. The décor makes you want to hang out with your friends and make new ones. Lots of yard games and board games are available. Bar tenders are extremely helpful and encourage you to try something new and hang out. With the weather being so hot it did get stuffy inside but once they closed the large roll up windows it did get cooler inside.

A bit out of the way, but entirely worth it. They have an open, relaxed atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Of course, the have the full spectrum off foothills brews.

Great hang out. Indoor/outdoor seating. Very chill. The staff is as friendly as they come. You can order food to be delivered or bring it with you. Board games available and the best beer in the area. We brought our kids(7 and 6) and they loved it! They both said we need to hang out here every night.
