Great food nice people. Ordered lamb and chicken kabob with rice bread on differ visits and they are all great. Portions are a little small but very tasty.

I’ve been here several times since it opened in Winston about a year ago. The service is always great and very fast. Interior is spacious and I’ve never had an issue with being seated. I usually get the ground beef kabobs or lamb kabobs, and have gotten the chicken ones once. All are delicious – super tender and very well-seasoned. Love the yogurt sauce that it comes with and I usually get naan with it as well. Yum! Great addition to Winston!

Pleasant surprise. Wife and I were downtown today. Looking for something new. Saw Kabobs on 4th while standing in front of Jimmy Johns. LOVEDIT. Ordered a #4 which was Beef, Chicken and Lamb. It came with a salad which had cabbage and lettuce mixed topped with Caesar dressing. Best Lamb I’ve ever had. My wife even liked it. The chicken was excellent and the beef just melted in your mouth. We got the fries and they were like Chick Fil A met Arby’s and had baby waffle fries. Awesome. Service was excellent and we will definitely go there again.

I forget what the soup with fenugreek is called, but omg is it ever delicious –with the fresh made pita, it made a satisfying lunch. Nice place. The owner has painted the walls with scenes from his homeland, which is nice –a glimpse through someone else’s memory/eyes.

The lamb kabobs are tender and sooo flavorful. Get the house dressing. It serves as a great counter to the lamb Naan is homemade, good but not the best I have tasted

The lamb kabob here is one of the best kabobs I have ever had. Cooked to perfection. So tender. The staff and the owner are very friendly. They truly appreciate your business. I would definitely recommend this place. Looking forward to my next business trip to Winston Salem solely to come here again.

Rare to get authentic, fresh, carefully prepared Middle Eastern(Iranian) cuisine in this area. The appetizers and handmade naan were scrumptious! Best eggplant dish and tabouleh in WS. Service was delightful, attentive, and personal. I took 2 Iraqi friends who were delighted to experience tastes reminiscent of home. Love to see them switch from styrofoam to environmentally conscious takeout containers.

The food here is very good. The naan is fresh and tasty. The couple of times I have been here I have enjoyed my meal. The people that run the place are helpful and took very good care of us. Now to why I only gave it three stars. It is over priced. I understand that quality comes with a price but they need to either fill in the plate a little better or cut prices. I would love to see this place succeed so I hope the owner will see this and add a little value to the plate. When I pay $ 13 or higher for lunch I like to leave satisfied.

Came here for my second visit. Hubby suggested that we tried this place as he really wanted some kebabs that night. I was hesitant because my first experience wasn’t that great. However, my first visit was when they had just opened for two weeks, so perhaps at that time they were still working out all the kinks. This second visit, I have to say that I was impressed! The owners of the restaurant were very friendly and nice. Great service! The food was super delicious. We ordered the eggplant for appetizers. I don’t remember what it was called but it came with naan. The eggplant was amazing! I’ve never had a better eggplant dish. Hubby and I also enjoyed our kebabs. I think this place is a great addition to the selection of restaurants available in downtown WS. Will definitely be coming back.

Visited on a Wednesday night. The owner greeted me, and was super friendly, explaining everything on the menu. The food was delicious! Freshly prepared. I had the ground beef kabob and the chicken kabob. Both were very flavorful and cooked perfectly. They slow cook the kabobs over a flame, to order. The rice was perfect and the salad was nice, with the house dressing. This is lemon juice, olive oil, and mayonnaise. No complaints at all. The place was not busy, which surprises me. But the other patrons that arrived all knew exactly what they wanted, you can tell they were regulars. Nice selection of beer and wine including some local brews. Really happy I stopped in, definitely will again.

Love this place! My husband and I went out to dinner this past weekend with nothing in particular in mind. All of our regular places were packed and we were in the mood for something new. We spotted Kabobs but it looked pretty empty. It was freezing out and we were hungry so in we went. We were so pleased we did! The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the menu was 90% vegetarian which my husband appreciated. We got the hummus, tabouli and veggie kabobs. It was all SO fresh and authentic. Shortly there after people started pouring in and everyone seemed to love the place. It was a delicious, fresh and affordable dinner for two. I have already suggested going back and it hasn’t even been a week! Love it

Love this little spot. Great gyros. Reminds me of Astoria, queens. Friendly people. The food is great. Love the atmosphere and the variety. So much to choose from at a nice small comfortable place. Second time here and will continue to frequent this spot again

Gluten free worries dissolve… Even if you do have to covet the aroma of fresh naan in the air. Rice, veggies to dip in the hummus(which is to die for). The ground beef kabob is a secret you need to be in on. If it was American food it would be meatloaf… Just go eat here. Don’t make me write anything else about it!

Went here while visiting relatives in the area with my fiancé. The owner is very friendly and he advised our decisions for our first meal. I was very happy to see they had vegetarian options. I received the fava beans with egg over rice. It was very tasty, although I am not sure $ 9 was the right price; I should have paired the dish with the naan to make sure I got full. Overall, a great meal and attentive staff! I can see why the place is so highly rated.

Love this place! It’s authentic and reminds me of the great middle eastern restaurants in Chicago and Seattle! They cook their chicken just right and take their time too. I also love their salad! My favorite part is their house dressing which consists of lemon and olive oil. It seems so simple but it works very well with the salad and chicken. Another favorite is their rice! It’s a must! The price is a little bit high but you do get good quality food and it’s healthy!

This small place is Middle Eastern fast food casual in it most plain and simple form — there is little ambiance, the tables and chairs are functional with little comfort involved, and the overall décor is somewhere between funky and tacky — so this is not a date night destination, unless a breakup is imminent. But the place is clean & well lit, the service is friendly and efficient, the menu broad enough to satisfy most who like this cuisine, and the price is in the ball park. And the food, at least what we had, is quite good. We tried the Lamb Kabobs(the meat is cubed), the Chicken Kabobs, with Salad with the House Dressing on both plates — no rice or naan on this visit — reigning in the carbs a bit! The meat is well marinated and cooked to order, so it will take a little time. Both the Lamb and the Chicken were excellent — full of flavor, tender with no hint of dryness, & perfectly cooked(to medium rare on the lamb). The salad was chopped Romaine lettuce, sliced red onion, sliced cucumber, sliced tomato, and fresh Parsley, then topped with a dressing of olive oil, lemon, spices, and Mayo! All the veggies were fresh(even the red onion), the dressing was excellent, and the tastes and textures came together very well. Our lunch here today was very pleasant, with great service and excellent food. We’ll be back to try the Ground Beef Kabobs, the Shrimp Kabobs, the Vegetable Kabobs, the Hummus, and the Dolmehs.

Stopped into Kabobs after wanting to try it for a long time. We arrived fairly late(8ish) and the restaurant was empty. I got the beef and she got the chicken. When the food came out, it smelled delicious. The beef was very good. I tried a piece of her chicken and thought it was tasty also. Both tender and well-seasoned. Other than that, the experience was pretty meh. The rice didn’t really have any flavor. The salad was fine but I would have liked a bit more dressing. I’m seeing everyone else here raving about the naan but it was the worst part of the meal for us. It was almost like a cracker in texture. That certainly wasn’t what we were expecting. I was thrilled that our meals each came with a big basket of naan but we both left our baskets full. Disappointing. I’m not sure I would return to Kabobs in the future.

I really enjoyed Kabobs on Fourth! I got the chicken with rice. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and placed around a bed of rice. I love that all their kabobs come with salad and yogurt cucumber sauce. I got the salad with their homemade dressing, which was light and delicious. I will definitely be eating here again!

Good food from a simple and limited menu of kebabs and naan in a very unpretentious setting. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful and obviously loves their little restaurant. My lamb kebab was very good as was the rice I selected it to come with(instead of naan). The green salad with it was OK but nothing special. The owner appeared to me to be Turkish or levantine but the food veered more towards Pakistani. In any case, very good and several Indian or Pakistani gentlemen were eating there when I was in for lunch which is always a good sign of authentic food. The prices though seemed a tad bit high.

Really awesome place! Looking forward to coming back in for lunch(or dinner) soon! The employees that run this place are very friendly and appreciative of your business. I am assuming it is a completely family run establishment. I started off with the hummus and it was perfect! I am a big fan of just plain olé hummus and they make a great one. I also enjoyed watching them make the naan right in front of me. I have never seen that anywhere else! I went with the chicken kabob and it was really tasty the yogurt cucumber sauce it comes with was delicious. It also came with a small salad and more naan. In hind sight I way over ordered with the naan. I had a bite of the lamb kebab and it was good, would definitely give that a try next time. When we went in they were giving out cups of complimentary middle eastern inspired chicken soup. The soup was so good! I would come in just to have the soup with some naan.
