Wife and I had eye exams No problem. Both of us needed new glasses, again no problem 700 $ later 2 sets of glasses, no problem. …Glasses I purchased needed a slight adjustment the next day… Evidently that’s a PROBLEM!!! Went in before noon, not busy had a seat and waited, and waited, people walking in looking a new frames BAM… Employees on that customer, I did get the ever so polite«„“ Hon is Someone waiting on you… Hon someone will be right with you»”:””””” ARRRRGGGHHH… Rather than make my normal scene… after 20 minutes I got my butt up and left, Went to their competition, and got the adjustment for free… Lenscrafters Hanes Mall… Service after the Sale is like the employees evidently it blows…

The staff is always friendly. If they make any kind of mistake, they are willing to fix it immediately. And always pay the extra $ for the extended warranty. Definitely worth the money. This is the only place I go for my glasses. We have been faithful customers for years.

Just visited this office for the first time. I was in need of both new glasses and contacts. I made my appointment easily online using their website. The location was pretty convenient… They are attached to the mall but have their own entrance. The doctor’s office side seemed to need a little TLC. All their furniture: reception desk, exam areas, etc seemed a bit tattered, worn and chipped. And despite being July 24, the heat was BLASTING. I asked a girl doing the initial exams why it was so hot in there and she said the AC was busted. Ugh. It wasn’t even that it was hot… Hot air was blowing. The LensCrafters/glasses area was in better condition. The associate that assisted me was very helpful. I liked that she talked me through the insurance coverage I had and if it would be more beneficial to me to use the benefits for glasses vs. contacts. In the end, using it for glasses was the better deal. The staff and doctor I had were very nice. While waiting for my eye exam, I could hear the exam going on in the next room. The doctor asked the gentleman if it was ok for her to dilate his pupils for the next exam. So when it came to my exam, I was never asked if it was ok for them to do this part… I wasn’t even informed of what was coming next. They just all of a sudden held my eye open and dripped drops in them. Caught me by surprise. My initial thought was– why not ask me for consent before squirting burning liquid into my eyes. Ah well. I planned on letting them do it anyways but a little«heads up» would have been nice. Glasses service is usually in about an hour. Mine was a touch longer due to a lab worker needing assistance with my pair. No big deal because I wasn’t in a hurry.(With it being at the mall, I killed time by shopping and having lunch.) The only negative I can really think of was when it came time to pick my glasses up, instead of waiting for them to call me, I called them and indeed, my glasses were ready.(Sweet) This time when coming in, I had my 16-month old daughter with me. All the associates were busy with other customers so I had to entertain my child for 15 minutes and deal with a complete meltdown before someone even greeted me. It wasn’t until she started touching $ 200 frames that someone came over to help. Luckily it only took about 2 minutes more to get the glasses and get out the door. It’s almost like they need a specific greeter there. Someone to take your name and let an associate know why you’re there. So many people were just sitting around in there, I wasn’t sure who was being helped already or who was waiting there with someone… All in all, it’s an eye doctor’s office. Did it completely«wow» me, eh– not really. But it wasn’t a bad experience either. Debated between a 3 and 4-star. Went with a 4 because I’d still recommend them.
