Mad For Bubbles

The first time my girlfriend and I tried this place, it was great. That was two or three months ago. The next time we went, the guy (who runs the place every day, all day) said he was out of tapioca, which is what makes bubble tea, bubble tea. He gave us a deal on a couple drinks with lychee bubbles instead and claimed the tapioca would be there in a week. Since then, we have been back several times, and as of the day I am writing this review, he still doesn’t have any. This has been over the course of a couple months, and he always tells us it will be in the following week. At this point, we don’t ever plan on going back. If there were any other places that had bubble tea in the area, he would have lost us much sooner.

This place has recently been my first bubble tea experience and I now LOVE Bubble Tea! You could say I’m ‘Mad for’ Bubble Tea. Ha! Mad for Bubbles Bubble Tea is a small stand in Hanes Mall next to the food court. The same man seems to run this station by himself all the time. I’ve tried the mango green tea with tapioca balls and a couple others. It’s $ 3 for a 12oz and totally worth it! Try different flavors and such each time you go. Oh! And pick up a card he can stamp, so you can get rewards – I’m guessing a free drink after so many visits, I haven’t picked up a card yet. So yummy!
