Family owned and operated since ’91. Mt Tabor barbershop is a staple in the community since the Sherwood Plaza shopping center days 1980. There are 10 barbers here, appointments are recommended but not necessary. A great haircut for 15bucks I recommend!

Great family owned and run barber shop. I don’t have much to work with but enjoy going to catch up with Ricky and his Dad, Billy. Been going there for the past 8 years and look forward to the next cut.

Love this place! Make sure you get B. M. Mitchell. He’s the best around. The wait can be pretty long though depending on when you go.

Friendly, fast, great cuts. Been going here about 3 years. If you find a barber you prefer they do make appointments.

I’ve been getting my hair cut regularly at Mt. Tabor for the past 3 years. I don’t have a «normal» person. I just go to whoever has an open seat.
The men and women there are always friendly and will give you a good cut and they’ll shave your next with warm lather which is a nice extra. A man’s cut is $ 13 which isn’t bad at all. I’ve found it is busiest on Saturdays so I try to go during the week whenever possible just to avoid having to wait. Also, I’m pretty sure that they only accept cash.
If you’re new to the area, I recommend Mt. Tabor for your barbershop of choice.
