The shoes are probably great, after sale lacking. It would seem that if you take one step out the door with the shoes on and then find for some reason on pavement they feel different or not right you are SOL, once you walk out the door the shoes are yours they will not take them back. That is not a company looking for my business, they even said to my mom,“well I could get another shoe for you to try but how do I know you will not walk out the door 20 steps and not like those also.“ That is just insane, 20 steps out the door on pavement and then you realize your foot keeps slipping out and sorry you now own the shoes they have wear on them is not a company I would recommend or buy from. We had plans on buying another pair for my mom in a few months, but now nope, lost a customer for life with that kind of policy and attitude. There was no care about how my felt, and that no matter what made her change her mind once she walked out the door, just that hey you just might do the same. Really? We are asking SAS corp what their return policy is, and if they reply back with this same type of nonsense then surely I would never buy from them. What if a customer likes how they feel at the store and after wearing in the real world they get a sore, what sorry you are screwed no returns once you walk out the door. Bad return policies are a customer killer no matter how great the product. After going back and forth they did give refund, but the attitude and feeling as if we the customer were wrong is just b. s and I wouldn’t ever want to be treated like that again, lost customer, and now spread the word.

These are the single most comfortable brand of shoes ever. They are handmade in Texas and the quality is outstanding. I know they’re expensive up front but my shoes have always lasted 4 – 5 years and remained comfortable and intact the while time! For comfortable, good looking shoes I highly suggest checking them out.

Didn’t see this Winston shop on Unilocal,so now it’s listed! Anyone who’s worn SAS shoes needs to know they’re available here. The store owner here moved from TX about 2 years ago, and this store has been a blessing to me! Now, I truly hate to admit needing specialty comfort shoes in my 30’s, but it is what it is. But after having noninvasive surgery for Plantar Fasciitis, I have to be sure I have great occupational shoes, so I don’t wind up in one of those boots from the podiatrist again! I lived in Dallas for 10 years, and so SAS has much more of a customer base there, although people all over the U.S. are diehard fans. Their slip resistant oxford helps me get around work without all the wear and tear to my feet, and comfortably hold my orthotics. If you stand and/or walk a lot at work, these are some of the very best shoes around! Also, they’ve come a long, loooong way with styles, so there are only a few of the old lady and 50’s nurse shoes! I also own a few pairs of their T-strap sandals(which even come in metallic and snake print designs) and bought a pair for my mom, so I look forward to wearing them in comfort in the warmer months. Can’t say how grateful I am to have a store here! I can walk with happy feet! :-)
