I think this place is a really neat concept for people who want to be more health conscience about their meal choices. The space itself is huge and probably way more space than they actually needed. They have locations in Greensboro, Burlington, and Jamestown as well. How it works is they have a row of refrigerated pre packed food; they have breakfast options as well as lunch/dinner options. The meals are made to be balanced complex meals, things like grilled sirloin and vegetables and chicken with rice. If you want to eat it there they have microwaves you can use to heat up your food or you can just grab it to go since they are already in to-go containers. The nutrition labels are on everything so you can be sure to know what the calories, carbs, etc are for what you are eating. I went with the grilled sirloin and vegetables. It was pretty tasty but it was also clear to me I was eating healthy food. My friend Michelle W went with the sesame chicken and really enjoyed it. She stocked up on a few options to go so that she could just pull from the freezer and have lunch ready to go. When we went in the employee was friendly, but did seem pretty bored. This is a new location for them so hopefully more people will be stopping in soon.

So I’m buying all my food here now. 3 meals a day. Yes it would be cheaper to buy the food myself and cook it but right now I don’t have the time. Normally this leaves you with the choice of eating fast food, food from restaurants or processed microwavable stuff. All of which is terrible for you. I’m so happy to have a healthy option! And not weight watchers tv dinners healthy. I’m talking real healthy food. All of it is from the farmers market and a lot of it is organic. Grass fed cows, ect. That type of stuff, as well as vegetarian meals. 2 minutes in the microwave and the meal is ready. I’m not crazy about microwaving stuff so I might try the toaster oven to heat it. So far the food is really good! Seasoned well and tender ect. And I’ve already lost weight. The portions are not large but they are actually like a normal portion you should eat. Not like an American portion lol. I’m finding myself slightly hungry in between meals so I’ve been snacking on fruit and stuff in between. But for the most part they give you enough protein to stay full. They have tables inside to eat there but I think most people just buy it and take it home. Try it!
