Toys R Us

The store is a combined toysrus and babiesrus. They have tons of toys and even clothing, shoes, and home items for baby. They are pricier than some of the other stores but often have sales and if you plan properly you can get pretty good deals. I have easily used the store pick up option and never have had issues at check out. My only issue has been when I ordered a bundle item for a DS. It came with a case and game. Obviously since its a bundle there is only 1 item number. The Burke was only offered online not in store but can be returned in store. When I went to return the item (ended up finding a 3DS at a great price) they couldn’t find the item number in the system. The person at the return desk was so confused. I had to pull my bank account up on my phone to prove the transaction matched the packing slip which of course had no dollar amount. I also had to walk her through how to do the transaction since she couldn’t find the item in the system and would need to manually enter the return. It was crazy but I got my money back. Alls well that ends well. It’s toysrus so you take the good with the bad. Luckily the bad happens few and far between.

I have not been to Toys R Us in years and this was my first time coming to the location in Winston. I did not realize they had clothes as well as baby supplies. I liked the giant lego section. I was buying a gift card as a gift but I would probably shop at the local toy store if I wanted to buy toys.

I guess no Toys R Us is a good place to «run in quick to grab a gift an hour before a birthday party.» This place is HUGE and was pretty packed. I eventually found a worker and told him what I was looking for (bc I did not have time to search on my own). He checked the computer and lead me to what I needed. When I got to the register, the item rang up for more $$ than I thought it was. They fortunately gave it to me for the price I thought it was going to be. :-) Yay!

This is the first Toys R Us I have been in that was combined with Babies R Us. Yes I know they are the same company, but I have never seen them as part of one store. The Toys R Us in Greensboro is a separate location than Babies R Us. Having said this, this location is small, even as a combined store.
I drove to this location because they had stocked items that were hard for me to find. I *had* to have Bubble Guppies’ bed sheets and this was the only store that was close to Greensboro that had them. The stores in Greensboro, Durham, Raleigh, and Charlotte didn’t stock this item. I also noticed as I arrived, they had a lot of Peppa Pig items that NO ONE has. I have a hellion that is in love with Bubble Guppies and Peppa Pig. Most of the Peppa Pig items I have found and bought had to be shipped from the UK. This is no joke. This store has a gazillion items from toys to linens from these cartoons. So it is safe to say the selection of what I was looking for is at this store. I talked to people in the store who were looking for the same things I was. I am happy I am not the only one that has to sit through these cartoons.
The site to store pickup was easy. I was approached as I walked in and was directed to how to get my sheets. Checkout was a breeze. They had my sheets ready to go.
Great store if you are looking for Peppa Pig and Bubble Guppies stuff. Small store that may not have other selection that you may get at larger stores that separate Toys R Us and Babies R Us. But woohoo for Peppa Pig and Bubble Guppies stuff!
