Great for a family night out or with friends. You constantly find deals that Include food or a free giveaway like a hat. Prices for food and drinks are reasonable. Parking can be a bit of a pain due to the lay out but not that bad. Different specials on different nights, like run the bases or unlimited food for one price, even beer specials on thursdays. Friday night games include a fireworks show. Great time every time!

BB&T Stadium is a great place to catch a game. The stadium was awarded the«Stadium of the Year» in Minor League Baseball just a couple of years ago. There is a nice view of downtown Winston-Salem, and the Friday night fireworks are awesome! If you don’t want to be in the evening sun, sit on the third base side. It’s a great family night out even if you’re not a baseball fan, but personally I am.

This is a nice park! There is plenty of parking within walking distance, if you don’t mind a bit of a walk you can even park for free since the meters are free after 6pm. Or there are plenty of parking lots that are usually $ 5. You can tell the park is on the newer side everything looked pretty updated. We sat in the picnic section which I thought was a really neat concept. You could sit at a legit table and not have to worry about juggling your food in a small seat. I also like that they have certain spots where local businesses set up. When I was there Mike and Mikes Italian Ice, Mayberry Ice Cream, Sweet Potatoes, and of course Foothills were all setup there. I have never seen that at a minor league stadium and I think it is a great idea. I was told that they swap out the local vendors every year. I had a Mike and Mike’s Italian Ice which was good and the fiancé had a pretzel which he loved. We were there for a function where you got unlimited access to the buffet which was hot dogs and hamburgers. It was what you would expect for that type of thing.

Outstanding ballpark. Great crowd and fantastically run! What a great addition to downtown and Winston Salem as a whole. Every year they add more features and promotions and now the develop t around the stadium is clearly underway. Go Dash!

Outstanding ball park in downtown WS with a great view of the city. The club seats are the way to go with the buffet and drink tickets. The food is really good and varies from night to night. Always in the shade. Great place to go with family and friends.

I really enjoyed the game. We were there during Autism Awareness day. The food is expensive and only mediocre just like at most ball parks. I enjoyed my time.

Opening night at BB&T Ballpark to see the Winston-Salem Dash. I love minor league baseball. Summary — Great seats — Decent food selection — Crowd was energetic — Beer was cold — Fireworks at the end of the game were great The great thing about minor league teams is they really try hard to earn your business with all of the extra stuff they do. Always a great family atmosphere. Only down side was the Dash lost the game. I’ll be back. Highly recommend.

The Winston Salem Dash is our single A baseball team. I grew up following this team(Spirits) and the day I got my license I drove an hour to see them. Sure it’s single A ball but its professional ball. They play at Ernie Shore Field which is a tiny complex recently bought by Wake Forest University for their baseball team. Why only two stars from a baseball freak? Billy Primm. He owns the team now. You know, the guy behind Primo water? He has more money than he knows what to do with so he buys a baseball team. Thats all dandy only Ernie Shore Field isn’t good enough for him. He spearheaded a new stadium downtown that is costing the taxpayers out the buttocks. Forgive my figures but I think the initial cost was 20million. ITS A SINGLE A TEAMBILLY!!! The park looks good from I 40 but then it came to a standstill. Turns out MR Entreprenuer cant do the math. Now its gonna cost 40Million. Hmmm. And he doesn’t want to sink his money into it. So welcome to baseball citizens of Winston Salem. You are footing the bill on a stadium that will NEVER be filled. A shopping complex that noone will shop at. Its in cracktown for gods sake. I run redlights in that area so I dont have to slow down. I hope I HOPE Im proved wrong but I think the Spirits, ahem, Dash will move to another town bc Mr Primm, no Billy bit off a little more than he can chew. This town isn’t big enough for a 40 million dollar stadium. Triple A sure. Double A maybe. Not guys right out of high school. Plus the ticket prices will go up dramatically and parking will no longer be free. Thanks for bending us over Billy. You POS. I hope Primo goes down the toilet. I will never buy it. Like I said I hope Im wrong and of course I’ll pay the extra money to go watch a game or twenty but most people won’t. And what about those old ladies you paid off for their houses. You didn’t even give them market value you swindler. And you didn’t tell them why you wanted their property. They have said they wouldn’t have sold had they known it was for baseball. This whole thing has disaster written all over it. But hey it looks nice from the freeway.
