Ms. Bee’s Popcorn & Candy Shoppe

This place is located in historic downtown Winter Garden, right on the corner, so you can’t miss it when you enter downtown. It is such a whimsical shop and brings you back to early childhood with the selection of old time candy.
I cannot impress upon you enough how scrumptious the popcorn is! They have many flavors to choose from and it is all made fresh right in the store. We have tried the cheesy popcorn, movie time butter, and buffalo flavors. (The buffalo was very spicy)!!
The staff are friendly and helpful and take the time to answer all questions. We live in Winter Garden and visit frequently; its a hidden gem. Do take the time to go you won’t be let down.

Two words: cheese popcorn. All of the cheese popcorn is amazing! They also offer candy popcorn and gourmet popcorn. The employees are so friendly and let you sample everything! They have taffy, fudge, and candy. Only thing I wish that was different was the lack of variety for candy.

We visited Ms. Bee’s while we were in Winter Garden for the 1^st annual Oktoberfest. The staff were super friendly and offered samples of any and as much of the popcorn we desired (so many flavors). We thought the flavor offerings were wonderfully varied. We decided on several flavors to purchase and have already been back to purchase more. I would definitely recommend.

I purchased the Groupon and bought 1 cheesy and one loaded potato. Terrible. Even my 12 year old said «it’s like eating chemical laced food doused with so much salt and powdered cheese». I threw the bags in the garbage as no one in my family of 5 wants to eat it.

We stopped in 30 min before they were closing. The shoppe wasn’t busy a few little patrons here and there. We were able to sample a few before we made our purchase. The girls (not the owner) seemed a little annoyed. I was with people who had been there before and they even said that it was out of the ordinary for this sort of attitude. The shoppe has tubs lined up on top of the shelvings of NFL and NCAA teams, which can be purchased and filled (for an extra cost) with your popcorn of choice. They offer candy as well as taffy. The only downfall of this place was they are super expensive. 2 Snack packs (6 cups each) was about $ 20. They have plenty of options when it comes to popcorn, whether you like regular cheese/​butter to candy coated or even gourmet popcorn. It said on the sign they sold fudge too but I didn’t see any displayed, probably sold out. Will I return? Perhaps if I am in the area and have a hankering for sweets.

I served several popcorns at a birthday party yesterday. The tuxedo was my favorite. A mixture of different chocolates. Delicious!

The BEST popcorn you will ever have! My kids are addicted to the Salt and Vinegar and the Kettle Korn is FABULOUS! Some of the «kid» flavors are so sweet that even my kids think they are too sweet (green apple and cotton candy). A little on the pricey side but great for a once in a while treat!
They have cute stuffed animals, salt water taffy and some «penny» candies. Very nice staff, too!

Love this place! This was s a must stop place when in Winter Garden. When they aren’t busy they are kind to allow the kids to try lots of samples. I appreciate this because the popcorn isn’t cheap but is delicious as long as you pick the right flavor! We leave with at least 4 bags each visit. Dangerous if you have a sweet tooth. The chocolate or cookie flavored popcorn is deliciously amazing! Cute candy is sold here. Family fun!

I worked with Ms. Bee’s popcorn for my wedding last March and I can’t believe people have put on here that she has bad service because she was one of the kindest people I have ever met. She even let me borrow larges jars for my wedding and was super helpful making sure everything was just right for my special day. Plus, the popcorn was DELICIOUS!!! I can’t wait to go back again :)

Cute old fashioned candy store which specializes in a variety of different flavored homemade popcorns. Candy is sold by the pound. You choose which kind you’d like and then they weigh it for you; its $ 9.00 a pound, which is steep. However, they had some really cool gummy candies that I have never seen before like jelly filled gummy turtles and gummy octopuses. I also like the variety of homemade saltwater taffy they had like the traditional watermelon, grape, cherry, chocolate, but also flavors I’ve never seen before like chocolate chip cookie, cupcake, raspberry lemonade, and maple bacon. They were all quite good, I must admit. When on vacation, I’m willing to splurge but they had a box of milk duds for sale for $ 2.25 that I just saw at Walmart for $.88 yesterday. I understand the novelty of a store like this but I hate when things are ridiculously overpriced.

Really annoyed!
I love the gifts I can get in this place, but I can only get here on a Sunday. Posted hours are open until 4 PM. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE BEEN HERE BEFORE 4 an the place is closed. I travel over 40 minutes to get here and it is quite frustrating that the shop is closed. I have also encountered a young employee who couldn’t calculate the weight if some items and became combative when I attempted to explain in multiple ways what I wanted.
If I didn’t love the gift ideas and possibilities as much as I do, I would definitely not give this candy shop three stars. When a business is unreliable with their advertised hours making it unfair to a consumer who counts on that to be true, they had better hope their product can redeem. They also need to fine tune their customer service a bit with perhaps a basic math class to those young employees they employee?

They clearly have the chocolate peanut butter popcorn melt in your mouth thing down… I am addicted! It’s a good thing it’s a little pricey because otherwise I would be a daily customer! I also love the Swedish fish and the chocolate covered raisins. Mmmmmm

I frequent here very often. The popcorn flavors are so unique. The staff is very friendly. I love supporting the local shoppes. Ms. Bee’s is one of those places we always take friends or family visiting from out of town. Winter Garden needs more places like this.

This is a great little sweet/​popcorn shop in downtown Winter Garden. It took a little while for us to get some help but when we did the gentleman working patiently brought us about half a dozen popcorn flavors to try. I thought the prices were a bit steep, especially for the gourmet varieties but they sure were tasty. As others have said loaded baked potato was a favorite (cheese, chives AND bacon!) and we got a small bag of that. We also got a snack size of both cheddar cheese and birthday cake. Those three little bags used up my $ 20 LivingSocial voucher.

I love the friendly local service of this yummy candy store. They also have cute different stuffed animals and I like supporting local businesses!

Spent a little time wondering plant Street with the family a few nights ago, and was pulled in against my will by the delicious smell of this store. Once inside I was trapped and I knew it. If it wasn’t for the allure of irresistible treats holding me in, it was my 3 kids. Even though they hadn’t finished their dinner they were miraculously hungry again. There’s a fun coincidence.
We had a great conversation with Gayle in which we discussed prices on their gourmet popcorn and sampled a few flavors. She also gave us some info on their wide selection of gift baskets. She was very friendly and helpful in a selection process. We left with white chocolate popcorn, kettle corn, and two different types of fudge for the kids. All of which was very delicious and well worth the slightly higher prices.
They candy is great and the Popcorn selection is ridiculous.

I love this place and is a great addition to the downtown Winter Garden area. The owners are very nice and the popcorn is great. I loved the fudge as well… homemade with butter and cream. Yum. I wish them good luck and hope that everyone who makes a trip downtown Winter Garden stops in to see what they have to offer.

Great place for a gift basket of popcorn and/​or candy in downtown Winter Garden — they have a ton of popcorn flavors to choose from (full menu’s on their website). My personal favorites are the white cheddar and loaded baked potato :)
