As others have said, this is definitely a locals bar. However, if you visit a few times, you will soon become accepted! The bartenders are great. Yes, sometimes it can take a while to get a drink if it is busy, but they generally go out of their way to accommodate you. Karaōke on Friday and Saturday night is a BLAST and attracts all walks of life. It will almost always be crowded, but enjoyable. Very cheap drinks, even cheaper happy hour. If you are looking for a smoking bar that is a dive in West Orange County this is your place!

Tony’s is an institution for locals, the equivalent of cheers for peoples of the 3478734711 or 34761. If you’re a tourist or if you’ve never been, you’re probably better off going across the sttreet to moon crickets

compared to all the other bars around this area it’s a dive bar. but don’t let the looks fool you. the staff is amazing. have your hand at pool and feed the jukebox which has some of the best COUNTRY music I’ve seen and heard in a rustic bar for a while! it’s nice to sit at the bar and have a cold beer. it’s cash only but atm is on location if you need some.

This review is for the bar side. Walked in on a Thursday night around 8pm, figuring I’d try something new. I was smacked in the face by a wall of smoke. Couldn’t find a bartender. Every patron knew one another and were all staring at me when I walked in. Seemed like an exclusive club of overserved regulars who don’t appreciate outsiders. They seemed to want me out. I obliged after 5 min of waiting to find someone to order from. I reeked of smoke the rest of the night. A couple of weeks later I was picking up some beer in the adjacent liquor store. One of the aforementioned overserved regulars stumbled through the door that connects the liquor store to the bar to buy some cigs. She wouldn’t stop talking to me about how she was so tired from dancing the night away and hoped that I’d join her dance card. Shockingly, I declined and am staying as far away from Tony’s as I possibly can.

I’ve actually been here quite a few times for drinks and pool games, but my phone service usually knocks out by the pool table. The bar maid is the sweetest person! She’s always so lively and attentive! Very good sense of humor, very friendly and helpful, aside from making KILLER drinks! I’d recommend this place to anyone just looking to bar hop during the day, though it’s not the kind of place you make plans around.

This spot screams up North to me. Dark. Dingy. Old. Full of locals. Cash only. Old school juke box and crane game machine and you can smoke inside. Not my kind of place; epitome of dive bar. However, I appreciate the local feel and the bartenders were darling. They had Woodpecker cider so I went that route. I smelled of smoke upon leaving so I was not happy, however, I know my friends had a good time so that made me smile.

Local joint of local folks. Very friendly staff and fun winter garden locals. What I hate about Tony’s is the smoking, but I know for my smoker friends they love it. So I come and still have fun. I play some pool and laugh with the locals.

The story you are about to read is true… 1:27 pm, Saturday. My partner and I stop to restock at Tony’s Liquors. Although the name is Tony’s, the man to see is Mike. Mike is a straight shooter who will go out of his way to get what you need. My partner has a penchant for a specific micro-brew from Seattle Washington. It’s occasionally carried in some big box stores, but never consistently and it seems to always run out the day before we get there. That never happens at Tony’s. One word to Mike and he keeps it in stock and cold. Now, lets talk liquor. Mike has suggested new, trendy bottles like Tyku(fantastic flavor and a bottle that lights up to give you your own Ultra-Lounge experience at home without the silicone enhanced clingers and sweat soaked pretty boys) Mike has also helped my quest to learn classic scotch, suggested a great Absynthe and turned me onto a great Gin(Whitley Neil). He’s more than willing to help you out, and of course, you are supporting local business.
