We ordered chicken tenders plus fries, 2 phở, 1 chicken lo mein. The food was good except the chicken tender it was half raw and half cooked. The French fries was good and all but after we told them they refried the chicken but didn’t give us a new one they gave it back and tasted weird.

Have been here several times. Tonight was Valentines Day, and we were lucky to get seated right away. Within 20 minutes ALL the tables were full, with large parties waiting. The staff did a terrific job, not getting flustered or losing their cool, like the pushy bully who thought he was«special!» The food was good, as usual. I like Pad Thai, and it’s always good here. Hubs ordered roast Cornish hen. Not really Thai food, but said it was wonderful, crispy golden skin, juicy, served with rice and broccoli.

I’m regular in this place. My daughter and I come here once a week for a lunch date. This place is our favorite place because they have great service. Also they have lunch special for $ 7.95 meal include a spring roll or summer roll.

Been here several times and never had anything less than very good. The Phở is as good as I’ve had anywhere and compares very favorably with the very best noodle shops in all of Orlando. But they also have very good fried rice dishes, and combination plates as well. Prices are very reasonable. You will notice the freshness and flavors above all else. Highly recommended.

Pretty good place to eat Vietnamese. The food was really good but the only thing that you must be aware of is the quantity. It’s HUGE. :) but still worth eating.

I think most reviews for this restaurant are overrated, this place is far from being 5 stars. The restaurant scene in Winter Haven is poor and most reviewers are Legoland visitors, who are comparing to park and resort food, so I understand that Saigon Garden, who offers for sure a lot of healthy options, seems like heaven. This said, it is true that the staff are very nice, service is quick and prices are fair.

I’ve been here twice. I come to visit Winter Haven often because we have family there and have Legoland passes. It’s one of the tastiest restaurants in town, nice and clean, inexpensive, and plenty of outdoor seating if you have a worn out kid and don’t want to subject other patrons to post-legoland meltdowns. The veggies on the food are always crispy and fresh, and everything I’ve had so far is yummy and well crafted. The Phở broth is aromatic and flavorful, I really enjoyed the goi du du tom thit(shredded green papaya salad with shrimp and pork) last time I was there. The Bun dishes are lovely too. Don’t let the strip mall surroundings fool you. This is a hidden gem in town overrun with chain restaurants and pretentious yet mediocre steakhouses.

Their lunch specials for $ 7.95 is worth the price. You get to choose from about a dozen entrees and includes a spring(fried) or summer(not fried) roll. I got the phở tat which is the rare beef slices soup. With the phở you get a dish with herbs and bean sprouts. I emptied this plate including what I thought were red jalapeños into the bowl. It was immediately spicy, getting hotter with each bite. I asked my waitress what kind of peppers they were; she said Serrano. No wonder! The boba tea was Ok, it was of the powdered variety.

Ate here when we were visiting LegoLand for the summer. Don’t let the strip mall location fool you, Saigon Garden has some great Vietnamese eats for even greater prices. We went on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was pretty busy, but we were quickly seated by a friendly and helpful server. Not only did she answer all of my family’s questions about the menu, but we were served super promptly. Props to the kitchen. The menu is pretty straightforward: lots of fresh spring roll options(shrimp, pork, chicken), phở, noodle, and rice dishes too! They even have a «kids menu» with entrees for only $ 5! We ordered chicken phở, pad thai, an order of spring rolls, and the chicken and rice kids entrée. Everything was excellent and hugely portioned! The kids meal was a great size and really tasty. I loved my soup. It was loaded with veggies and felt like a great way to detox after eating loads of Legoland food. I’d definitely recommend this if you’re in the area!

My wife and three kids and I knew that we would not want to eat at Legoland Resort. I am SOGLAD that we ventured out. This restaurant was wonderful. The food was exceptional, service was very friendly and the location was very nice and convenient. I wish this restaurant was in my home town.

Delightful broth in the phở and overall quality meats and preparation. Unexpected Vietnamese Food Excellence in the shadow of Legoland. We ordered a lot of different dishes — all good. Yes. Winning.

So surprised to find a Vietnamese restaurant so close to our resort. I ate there with my family after a day at Legoland. The food tasted great and authentic and the staff was very pleasant. We will definitely eat there on our next trip to Legoland

I can definitely see why this place gets a 5 star on Unilocal!Took my daughter, hubby, bro in law and niece for a Father’s brunch and boy were we happy I chose this place ! The food and portions were excellent. I had the curry chicken. And wow, it was delicious. It was the perfect combination of just the right amount of curry and not too overly milky with that coconut milk. My husband had their Phở and huge Summer Rolls. Because the Summer Rolls were so huge, it stuffed him up so good that he couldn’t eat his all his Phở. So I ate it ! And it was delicious and this is saying a lot because I am not a fan of restaurant Phở. I only eat home made but this Phở was excellent . On top of that, my daughter had her own kids menu! Now that is new because Vietnamese restaurant hardly provides a kid’s menu! She had the grilled pork and rice and it was delicious. My bro in law and my niece both were happy, too. I ordered iced coffee boba to go and that was yummy . By the way, the bathroom was so clean!!! This is an extra bonus. So therefore, I also give 5 stars !

Phở virgin no longer! Phở Ga was delicious! The chicken was very tough, but the broth and fresh veggies made up for that. Not an easy soup to eat, but I’m a Southern Belle and I over think my table manners. I had the lunch special which came with an egg roll or summer roll. I opted for the summer roll with shrimp and pork. It came with a delicious peanut sauce. The roll itself is bland, but that’s why they serve it with a sauce. Plating was great. Open and airy with mellow classical music playing. I will be back!

Unexpected find not far from Legoland. Not a whole lot going on in Winter Haven so when we found this place on Unilocal we were excited to try it. Service, food and the location were great. The portions were tremendous. Plenty of parking in the lot. Make sure you get a Vietnamese iced coffee :)

Tofu in curry sauce was good, the bun vermicelli was fresh but bland. Would have loved more herbs and veggies in the summer roll. Better go for lunch, they are busy at dinner time.

I have seen Saigon in passing and wanted to try it. Tried it out today. very clean place not overly decorated with all the plastic typical decorations like most Chinese or Vietnamese restaurants. everyone is very glad to see you. Ordered the chicken pad Thai. Very good, generous portions and vegetables are so fresh. I was very happy and I will be a regular. I hope more people try this place so they stay in business. I’m so sick of the chains and like zombies the idiots line up at Golden Corral and other chains the television programs them to like.

3.5 Stars Newly opened at The Blue Room’s old location, Saigon Garden is a work in progress. Though they’ve only had a soft opening, this family-run Vietnamese restaurant is a nice stop for lunch and dinner with affordable prices. The restaurant scene in Winter Haven definitely needs more diversity, so I’m excited to see how Saigon Garden does. The inside is a little drab. The bar at the entrance definitely cramps up the entry way a little bit and I can see how a large group may have difficulty entering initially; but the rest of the space is quite roomy and open. I really like the exposed ceiling. My family and I ordered Goi Cuon Tom Thit(shrimp and meat spring rolls), Mi Vit Quay(noodles with roasted duck), and Phở(beef noodle soup) during our visit. We also had the Taro Boba and the Thai Tea Boba. It was an enjoyable dinner — everything was made fresh and we could taste every ingredient. TIP: If having the boba, get it slushed; it makes everything better! Service was nice too. :) Minh was our server and he was friendly and helpful; especially when we needed clarification. The rest of the staff seemed friendly as well. Overall, Saigon Garden could use some work. They need to extend their hours, especially during the weekend(they close at 9pm on a SATURDAY). We saw several people come up to the door and just leave. From what I saw, they’re not very busy right now(that’s a shame because there’s nothing like them in Winter Haven), so I hope business gets better by their Grand Opening. But the bones are there and their food is unique and flavorful, so I wish them the best! Can’t wait to come back and try them again.
