This place is awesome. The servers are super friendly, and the pizza is amazing. It’s crispy on the bottom and the crust was still doughy in the middle. It was perfection. We got a veggie pizza, so I don’t know what the grease level would be like on a meat pizza, but this was not greasy in the slightest. I’ve also had a calzone here that was fantastic. Highly recommend! They are also so nice to children.

Hubby got a recommendation about this place so we stopped by for a quick lunch. Pizza here is pretty dang good — the cheese really reminds me of NYC pizza(along with all the good grease!). It was melts, gooey, and greasy and the type that almost falls off your slice *drool*. Some of the slices were missing small pockets of cheese which create that bubble in the middle of the pie though. Their crust was just ok – just standard pizza crust. I definite prefer thinner and chewier base with that kind of pizza. Service was super friendly and quick — they do have a sizable dine-in area which was not expected from the outdoor look of this place. They check up on you often and my water glass was always full which I really appreciate in a place I deemed a lot more casual. Prices seemed a bit more, but being able to dine in more than justified the cost and we will be back occasionally when we don’t feel like driving all the way out to Tuscany pizza.

Stopped in for a late lunch recently and was impressed. This place is definitely a step above the usual strip mall pizza joint. The atmosphere and staff were very warm and welcoming. We had pizza and wings and both were excellent. Service was great and super friendly. I was also impressed that they had several gluten free options and offered the option of vegan cheese.

I have been coming here as far back as I can remember. This is by far the best pizza in town. I don’t live close Boardwalk anymore and I still go here for carry-out. When I do dine in the service is always friendly and on-point. Run here, do not walk!

Good pizza, but closing at 10:00PM on a Saturday? Really? Off to Mellow Mushroom I go…

Finally decided to give this place a try. I was Severely disappointed. I ordered take out which took 45 minutes to fill my order Saturday afternoon. I ordered the garlic knots, what I received were burnt piece of rolls with no olive oil and bad seasoning, pretty much threw the whole box in the trash. I also ordered their«Boardwalk pan pizza» which sounded lovely but ended up being like cardboard honestly dominos tasted better than this pizza which by the way adding pepperoni to it made it about $ 19.00. The pizza was garbage. Very upsetting since almost all of the reviews said this pizza was amazing. Also, I ordered 10 wings. Big disappointment!!! They don’t trim the fat on the wings they get so what you get are gross chewy wings covered in excessive fat and skin. Sorry, but you have to do better. The only saving grace to this place was the steak hoagie I had which was really great and the front desk person was very customer service orientated. So, I’ll be generous and give this place 3 stars but I’ll never order Pizza or Garlic Knots here again.

Been eating here for years. It’s my favorite pizza place. I wish they would open a few more stores and one closer to my house

We love to eat here. Their food is always warm and tastes so good. The staff is always super nice and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a small quaint pizza/Italian restaurant to eat at!

Best pizza in town! I am a pizza fanatic and I can confidently say that I’ve eaten at 30 pizza places in central Florida… This place takes the cake(or the slice). It’s fantastic! Fresh ingredients, friendly service, fast, and location offers ample parking. Wings are amazing! Great sandwiches and stellar pasta dishes. A must try!

Road Lunch… I’m a carbs best friend so it was a toss up between pizza and sub. The sub won out, think Philly Cheese deluxe, warm fresh baked bread, covered in this amazing rib-eye, blanket that with American cheese and you have a sandwich that overflows its bun. Great service, a nice beer selection and deserts that would make you slap your Mamma. Don’t forget a complete offering of «Gluten Free» dishes.

I had to two cheese slices and loved it. It was toasty and tasty. Man oh man, I will go back and try other dishes. This place was calling me as I was next door dropping a package at UPS. Glad I went with my gut on this one. Boom!

When my date and I were searching for Gluten Free restaurants in the Winter Park area, this was one of the first places to pop up on Unilocal. As a gluten free consumer for many years, I’ve been largely disappointed by gluten free crust at pizza places. It’s tough to get it right. We read through the reviews of Baorwalk and decided to give it a shot… Location– in a shopping center with a few other resrtaurants & bars in the area. Boardwalk offers outside seating which is a plus, even if the view is a parking lot. Staff– extrememly friendly! We got to pick our own table and our waitress stopped over to take our drink order immediately. She was attentive and helpful the entire time! Food– Appetizers– we started with a large house salad and french fries. The house salad was iceberg mixed with cucumbers, onion and tomatoes. Nothing special, I could have done without it. I am not a fan of iceberg as it is tasteless and cheap :(The french fries were fresh from the fryer but not fresh cut. Overall, I wasn’t thrilled with the appetizers. Main dish– we each ordered a gluten free pizza with Daiya cheese(vegan cheese.) Let me take a second to rave about the Daiya option!!! Daiya cheese is allergy free and melts very well. I was so pleased to see this option! It’s a rare find at pizza restaurants. For toppings, I ordered broccoli, spinach, mushrooms and minced garlic. My date got minced garlic, green pepper, onion, jalapeño. WOW! Both of our pizzas were amazing. My date said his heart was set on a good gluten free pizza and this totally hit the spot. The crust was crispy and the toppings were chopped to perfectly accomodate the size of each slice. Like I mentioned earlier, Daiya cheese is delicious and they didn’t skimp! Next time I am in the area and craving good gluten free pizza, I will find my way to Boardwalk!

We LOVE this place! Not only is the service amazing, but the food is unbelievable. Our family will not eat pizza from anywhere but Boardwalk Pizza! The only thing that I wish is that they would deliver. :)

This is a local favorite. Their version of Supreme pizza is terrific. Fresh brewed iced tea which is s must for me. I know it may sound crazy but try the dinner salad with their homemade ranch and house vinaigrette mixed. It is fabulous!

Just a great all around experience. The order was filled correctly and quickly. The Stromboli and Gluten Free Pizza we ordered were delicious. The cost/value was about average. Shannon, our hostess and server was genuinely happy, helpful, and professional. She made good menu recommendations and followed up frequently Must go!

This is some of the best pizza I’ve had in Central FL. They seem to use very fresh toppings because the pizza is never greasy, even when you get a lot of meat and extra cheese. And, since I worked in a pizzeria gor 3 years, I know that when you use low quality cheese, it makes the pizza greasy and that is not the case here. The service is great too — all of the waitresses are always friendly. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is because sometimes it takes a little while to get your food, but that seems to be because they get very busy, which is a good thing!

Wanted to give an update on their gluten free offerings. I finally was able to try the gluten free ravioli, and it’s just as awesome as the gluten free pizza. While the sauce for the ravioli was a bit salty, the pasta itself was great! Slightly chewy, and not soggy. I upped the stars not only for this, but because the service has been exceptional every time I’ve gone. They now offer dairy free cheese, and were able to accomodate my request for a gluten free, tomato free, dairy free pizza for a friend. No. joke. And they did it with a smile and didn’t make me feel like a total jerk. And you know what? It was awesome. Gluten free crust, with light olive oil, dairy free cheese, spinach and onion. I kept stealing bites of his pizza. It’s hard to find good gluten free pizza and pasta, and even more difficult to find a restaurant that doesn’t make you feel like a huge inconvenience for asking about it. Boardwalk, whatever you’re doing, keep doing it.

Pizza is outstanding, wings are as close as you’ll see to authentic Buffalo style without a trip to Western New York. A little on the pricey side, but if you’re looking for quality comfort food, this is the place.

We had stopped in for lunch on a visit to the area a few years ago. I remembered it being acceptable if not remarkable. Tonight I stopped by to pick up something for dinner and was drawn to the spaghetti dinner special for $ 10.99 plus tax. Even though they were very busy, everyone was friendly and the meal was prepared fairly quickly. The pasta was a little over cooked and the marinara sauce was not significantly better than Prego. The garlic knots weren’t very garlicky, but they were warm and good. The side salad was good, if not spectacular: iceberg lettuce with two cucumber slices, three small tomato slices, and several slices of onion. A highlight of the visit was the friendly demeanor of several of the employees while waiting. In particular, the person who took my order, Paige, was smiling and courteous to me and all who approached her in the busy area around the cash register. While the spaghetti was not worth a return trip, we’ll likely return to try the pizza due to the good recommendations and friendly service!

We were in the area and stopped by here prior to Unilocal a check. We ordered the large cheese pizza and 10 wings. The price was $ 19.99, maybe their best deal. First, they only have one size pizza 16 inch. I again do not like this, also I swear its not 16 inches. The slices were on the small side, the crust varies depending on randomize. I saw a few other customers pizzas with much larger crust. The price for a 16 inch is $ 13.99, which is on the high side. One thing they do is place the slices on you plate, I don’t like this. She gave slices with larger crust to my kids, who don’t like the crust, leaving me with the wimpy crust. iI am not sure why they do this at some places? The wings were alright they had enough meat, but the sauce taste wasn’t embedded into the wing. I have had wings where the taste had penetrated deeper into the chicken. They get some really high reviews, but to me they were just average. We won’t be going back as we don’t go by that area much, and wouldn’t go back even if we did. I don’t remember northern pizza joints only making 16 inch pies. I just don’t like that there is no options in size. They of course use grande cheese like many other places, but I really don’t taste any difference. The service wasn’t as quick as we are used to. She seemed to want to turn over tables fast. They have those gluten free options, which is a good thing.
