The pizza was good even if the décor of dollar bills lining the walls was a bit unusual. I’d recommend it if life finds you in Winter Park.

Hernando’s is great restaurant, and a personal favorite of mine from the two summers I spent in Grand County. The pizza is delicious, and they have so many good options to choose from. They definitely have something for everyone. My personal favorite is the Column 1, which has all of the meats from the first column of the list of pizza toppings. The service is friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is great for people of all ages, whether you’re a local or a tourist.

Hours are posted on the door opens at 5pm. Do not go here. The pizza is way sub par. The pizza is mostly crust that is folded over a paste. The Chicken Alfredo is not any better. I will not return. This is the worst pizza ever and it is expensive. Get your self a frozen pizza and do it yourself.

The crust is pretty dry and cardboard box-like. I really wanted to like this place. I love local pizza places. Good service and cool décor. The pizza just doesn’t make the cut. The sauce doesn’t pull everything together and the cheese couldn’t hold the toppings on the pizza. Overall, just a dry dry dry pizza that was not cohesive. Also ordered the baked ziti and the pasta was, again, very dry and almost brittle. Cardboard box taste and texture again but harder like plastic. Just not really good food. Went in starved and barely ate 2 slices and a few bites of the pasta. Sorry, just didn’t like the food.

You must stop here. It is modeled on the obscure bubble house in fort Myers in that it has 25000 or more dollar bills on its walls. But the pizza is serious. More options than I’m used to. The crust is big and they have honey to dip it in. I know. But try it.

So my favorite place let us down a little bit today! From our welcoming grunt that they are too busy and don’t have enough servers to 1 hour later when they asked us to wait a while for a pizza to go! Geesh, what grouches at Hernandos today! If it was just me and my husband we would have gone elsewhere, but the kids wanted pizza! The hostess was very nice today, not to be confused with the two dudes who were having a bad day!

I haven’t been to Hernandos in a long time. We ordered take out. This time I tried a new pizza, the Mediterranean and substituted pepperoni instead of sausage. It rocked! Olives, spinach, feta, red onion and pepperoni. I had 3 pieces and was excited for my next day leftovers. My son ate a midnight snack of both pizzas and by the time I woke all the pizza had been devoured. He ordered peppers and pineapple. My pizza was the best!!. I still think Hernandos has the best pizza in Winter Park. I love the crust dipped in ranch too. I usually don’t eat pizza crust but I like Hernandos yummy crust.

Ordered to go since the line is always obnoxious Not impressed in the slightest Ordered it at 3 to pickup when they opened at 4 The pizza was cold by the time we picked it up at 4:03. Not great flavor. Won’t be back.

So yummy! Definitely get the hand tossed. Delicious! We got one traditional style and one with the olive oil and basil base. Both were awesome! We started with the antipasto salad — large — which was more than enough for 3 of us. A fun joint with a little character. All in all a great experience!

It’s alright nothing special. The pizza is decent but there’s way to much crust. When I order a pizza I want pizza not a fucking loaf of bread. What’s up with the honey? This Colorado thing with honey on crust is stupid. Bring out some marinara or ranch or something but honey?! Price is fine for a mountain town… not to taxed. It’s a jungle in this place though with kids running rampant so don’t go there if you want a nice night out.

Truly awful pizza. Imagine cooking frozen pizza from the supermarket in the microwave instead of the oven add some disappointment and there you have it.

It’s either the only pizza joint in winter park or the best pizza joint in winter park. When we arrived for dinner it was packed with a wait and when we left it was still packed with a wait. We sat at the bar, service was moderately friendly. The pizza was phenomenal. Ordered a small house salad and it came out with heaping amounts of croutons and dressing. We ordered the small pesto and it was perfect. Even the crust is stuffed with pesto and cheese. They serve it with honey and I think that has forever changed my pizza dipping ways. Great prices, great pizza. Highly recommend considering how expensive the food and drinks are at the resort. It’s only a short 10 minutes into town.

I loved this place! Waiters are a little pushy… Food was very good, and a great choice when in the Fraser-Winter Park Area. Must visit at least once!

Let me start by saying that I’m a pizza snob who is originally from NY — so my standards for pizza are very high. We showed up on the evening of Thursday 1÷7÷16 — around 4:15PM. We were seated immediately and the wait staff was quick, courteous and helpful. The atmosphere is really nice and the $ 1 bills that adorn most surfaces were a real hit with us. Now on to the Pizza: — — — — — — — — – The crust is good but there’s far too much of it. I don’t know about you but when I order a 10″, make your own pizza, I’m not expecting a 4″ outer edge of crust. There was just too much crust and not enough inner circle. The inner circle — about 6″ — was too thin to support the meager toppings and I ended up having to eat the pizza with a fork… which as most pizza connoisseurs know is blasphemy! It was so thin in the middle that it would have been impossible to pick up by hand. I ordered 5 toppings but could only see 4 of them when delivered to the table. I had to search the pizza for that 1 last topping and it was so small I wondered how they could actually charge me for it. The toppings were not easily identifiable by taste — rather bland — which usually indicates they were frozen at some time. The amount of toppings provided for the price were not worth it. Don’t get more than 1 or 2 toppings if you don’t care for plain pizza. Over all the pizza was«Okay» for a family dinner but taste wise — it’s not anything special.

Ordinarily, I love Hernando’s. Fast service, good food, good prices. We ordering a kid’s serving of noodles for $ 5.50 the other day. We got 10 noodles. When I asked if that was all we got, the server just said yes and walked away. A box of noodles is $ 1.00 at the store, this is just wrong! We love Hernando’s, but this time we felt like we got ripped off.

After all the talk of this place we finally ventured into WP to give it a try last night. Bartenders were in their own little world on their phones, BSing with what appeared to be a regular. The guy next to us sat with an empty wine glass and was passed numerous times without a glance from either bartender. After waiting 15 mins to be acknowledged for a food order one bartender walked by picked up our menu and kept walking. OK, got it. We’ll leave. Total disappointment as we’ve been looking forward to trying this place for months.

We went on a very busy night, so we made a reservation. When we walked in, the whole place was packed, but they were fully prepared for our table of 12. The waitstaff was fast, efficient and friendly. We ordered the family style salad, pizzas, meatball sandwiches, pasta and stromboli. The food was fantastic! The whole family loved the fun surroundings — go! It must be seen. The owner was there working hard right along the waitstaff and came over to our table to say hello and check on us. We’ll go back the next time we are in Winter Park!

Good pizza! Cool atmosphere. Bring $ 1 bills with you to put on the wall. The spinach artichoke dip was kinda blah, but I really liked the pizza! Family friendly

My personal favorite place to eat in Winter Park based on a total of four restaurants I’ve eat at in this town(so take that with a grain of salt!). Biggest tip: CALLAHEAD. The first night I went, I was told we’d wait for 1.5 hours. but we were dedicated to eating there, so we waited at the bar with some of the nicest, coolest bartenders ever. They got us fixed up quickly, gave great suggestions, and made small talk with everyone. What was supposed to be a long wait only turned out to be a 45 minute one. The whole room is decorated in dollar bills and has a cozy ski lodge feeling. They are known for their pizzas and boy, are they good. The first night we tried a more plain traditional style, but the second night we went crazy with a mediterranean style with tons of basil and garlic. Both were super good.
