Lilly Pulitzer

I went into this beautiful store on a Wednesday afternoon to turn right back around in a matter of minutes. When I arrived one lady was checking out so the two sales ladies were helping her and didn’t even greet me which is fine I guess– they were helping another customer. But when that customer left they started talking about her immediately saying very unkind things about her. I was so disgusted I just walked out. I don’t like to spend money from people that are so disrespectful. I wonder what they said about me when I left? I went to the Lilly store at millenia mall later that week and had friendly staff members help me and spent a lot of money on fabulous finds for my upcoming trip to Hawaii.

I spent way more money than I should have here, but that’s alright by me! The store was nice, clean, bright and everything was easy to find. I wasn’t greeted right away, but that’s fine too. I like shopping in peace and then being able to seek out help when I need it. Which I did and all the sales girls very very approchable and available. They found the shorts I was looking for and even made suggestions for tops that would go with them. It’s a little far from my house, but definitely worth the satisfaction of walking out of the store with my purchases rather than waiting for them by mail!

Location: Downtown Winter Park is great. (1) It’s almost always warm — yay Florida! (2) There are a wide range of upper echelon shops and restaurants just waiting for you to explore and buy as many needlepoint belts as your heart desires! (3) There’s Lilly.

I’m going to turn off my Northern Elitest attitude for one minute to say — Southerners know how to do preppy with color.
I don’t know if I have very different employee experiences than most people because I’m outgoing and friendly (minus Northern Elitest attitude of course), but the girls in this shop were friendly and outgoing to me… Maybe it’s because I spent more than Lily R. Who knows…

I LOVE the brand Lilly Pulitzer, but I have to admit that this location is not my favorite to shop at. They have a mix of employees who either don’t care about you whatsoever unless they think you’ll be spending a lot, or they have ones that are completely overbearing and offer up to much help. They have a decent selection and occasionally good sales, so I’ll continue to stop in to try on new items and occasionally make purchases, but usually prefer to go to Bloomingdales!
