Great gift shop in Cooper Creek shopping center. Anything you could possibly want for your mountain cabin or ski condo is in here. T-shirts, signs, art work, candle holders, picture frames, ornaments, decorative kitchen… on and on and on. Lots of bears, moose, and ski motif. Very friendly staff. Locals also get 10% off.

Moose Hollow is a total kitschy tourist mecca where the theme of all things knick-knacks are(can you guess?)… Moose-related. Sure, they have other mountain-animal-related trinkets, but their main focus is Moose. A store like this is designed with ski tourists from Texas in mind. Or maybe Japan, where they don’t have black bears(I know they have Asian black bears, but just roll with me on this one). Would you like 15 different styles of shot glasses with«Winter Park» on them? How about the ever hilarious bags of «Colorado Moose Droppings»? Sure to delight family and friends when they bravely chomp in only to discover, alas, it is not poop but merely chocolate with a humorous label! What about overpriced hats and scarves? T-shirts with«Winter Park» and graphics of skiing Moose and/or bears all a-tumble from a yard sale? You know, the kind a grandma would buy on her ski-cation and give to her teenage grandchildren for Christmas much to their dismay(except for the Hipster grandkid who’d think it was totally rad). Speaking of Christmas, if you go in the off-season(summer), you might find some sweet deals on Christmas Moose and Christmas Bear items. Since you’re already in Winter Park, and you’re already in Cooper Creek Shopping Square(where Mooseland… I mean Moose Hollow is located), why not stop in? It’s there; you’re there. Much like the Black Bear nativity will be at Christmas times for years to come.
