I was trying to place a to-go order an hour and a half before it says they close and when I called«Sorry we closed an hour ago» and I try to tell them they need to update their Unilocal hours to stop confusion and I get hung up on! I’m never calling again to place a to-go order or visiting this restaurant. Straight up rude.

My client picked this spot because it’s a favorite of hers for the lobster ravioli and sangria. Upon entering, we were greeted and given the inside or outside option. My client chose outside. which she regretted and switched to inside a few minutes later(even under the covered area it’s too hot until after the sun full drops. The waiter was very nice and understanding. We moved inside and ordered 2 sangrias bc that’s what my client wanted, even though Monday night is ½ of all bottles of wine. The sangria was okay,. I wouldn’t particularly recommend it. I’m not a fan of ‘turning’ fruit, so i used my fork to scoop out the rotten strawberries. if fruit isn’t fresh, it’s pretty dumb to put it in my face. Mehhhhhh We ordered the calamari as an appetizer. It was not good at all. It tasted though it’s been frozen then nuked. Our main meals were better, delicious and large so we both had leftovers to take home. I’ll skip the calamari and sangria, but I’ll be back for the entrees and wine.

Probably my favorite Italian in Orlando. Food always satisfies me and the service is great as well. Like the patio/street seating atmosphere. One of my favorite dishes are the flatbreads they offer and the other favorite is the baked ziti! Super cheesy which I love. They have different sauce options which is a plus. I like this place so much that I’ll even come twice a week. I would change a couple of things. For starters they always forget to bring the bread when waiting for the food to come out. Everyone expects bread at an Italian restaurant. I hate looking like a hog and asking them to bring the bread with oil and vinegar. To request seating you have to go into the restaurant past all the people who are eating on the outdoor patio. It is very uncomfortable for those eating on the patio and for those who are waiting to be seated.

Service: rushed, server a little harsh on guests and a little loud. Food quality/taste: Good temperature, taste went from good to «the food tasted as it was expired» Ambiance: Look like a part of Italy, cute place. Plaster painting on the walls, loved the ceiling. Location: Great location, right on Park Ave WP. Price: Food price was reasonable, drinks not so much. $ 13 for a 10floz sangria. Cleanliness: Good.

Passed this place many times, never visited. That was a mistake, great service, great food, ½ wine on Monday!

Great service, atmosphere, and eats! My friend and I split the spaghetti and meatballs and antipasto for one and it was plenty. The portion sizes are very generous. I wish I could have tried their highly recommended desserts. Next time!

We were looking for a good place to eat, passed by and looked yummy. We sat outside and the service was slow. Appetizers were yummy but main entrée was disgusting. Definitely not worth 30 $ I could have gone to Olive Garden and got better quality food. There are definitely better restaurants on the strip. Pretty disappointed.

I’ve been here twice and twice I’ve been dissatisfied. The waitress literally threw the check down on our table. She wasn’t helpful with the menu either. Honestly, I don’t think she even smiled. I ordered shrimp scampi and was sad because I had such a tiny portion. It’s an 18.00 dish– pasta isn’t expensive. I’m a tiny girl and don’t eat that much and I’m complaining. The food tasted good but go to another restaurant that shows that they care about your dining experience.

Food: I’ll be honest, when I used to work on Park Avenue, the calzone here was one of my favorite lunch options. It’s still good… But last time I visited for dinner, about two weeks ago, two of my friends felt ill afterwards. Not a good sign. Drinks: beer and wine only. At normal Park Avenue prices. Atmosphere: nothing really to say here. It was packed on the weekend night I was there.

I’ve been to Pannullos a few times and the food I’ve had was always good. I visited again with a groupon for 4 and looked forward to a nice Italian meal with friends. The reason for 2 stars is not the food but the service. I had a movie to catch and was on a time limit and our server kept disappearing. After he left the check it must’ve taken 15 minutes for him to come back just for us to have to send it back 2 more times due to errors. Each time took as long, if not longer, than the last. It was extremely frustrating and 2 of us had to leave our friends there to deal with finalizing everything.

I like their friendly service, and the food was good up to par with Italian standards, and prices were fair … Diffenitely try it again.

I have lived in Orlando for over 10 years and I have never been to Pannullo’s. This is mostly because of the varied reviews. I should state that I am Italian; therefore, I am extremely picky when it comes to eating Italian at restaurants. I came here on a Friday night with 3 other friends as we had a Groupon. I am glad we had a Groupon, otherwise, I would have been even more disappointed. Our waiter that night started out at 5 stars: he was very nice and welcoming. He let us try a couple of wines to help us decide which ones we wanted. However, once he learned that we had a Groupon he went down to a 1. I am not sure if this is because the 18% gratuity was automatically added to our bill. Food — I had the scallops carbonara. The waiter recommended it saying that it was one of their most popular dishes. It had been awhile since I had a carbonara dish so I decided to go with it. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The scallops were cooked nicely; however the dish didn’t have as much flavor as I had hoped. There are much better choices on Park Avenue so I doubt I will be coming back.

We started off with the fried calamari which was very good we asked for a side of Marinara sauce because the sauce that came with it was OK at best. We all asked for the antiposto salad to go with our entrées they were good but they used to be incredible they have changed over the last year or two. For dinner we had chicken Parmesan excellent veal parm excellent chicken Sorrento good. Overall very good for an Italian restaurant there is always a Groupon or discount coupon somewhere for this place tonight they had half-price bottles of wine. I would definitely recommend trying it if you’re in Winter Park!

I have been searching for a good Italian restaurant and now I’ve found one here in Winter Park. The fresh bread with garlic was to die for. So delicious. Both times I came here I ordered the shrimp pasta. OMG the best ever! The sauce was so rich.

Atmosphere is casual with light music playing in the background. We had the gorgonzola chicken and the shrimp carbanera. Both dishes tasted great with mild not over bearing flavors. We enjoyed the bread with the garlic paste and olive oil. that was delicious. Will be back to try other dishes.

The food was delicious with a very attractive presentation. I ordered the antipasta salad, which surprised me with pickled cabbage –yum! The Italian meats were fresh and lean. Our server was rushed but quite efficient and super friendly. Loved the outdoor seating. Perfect afternoon. The bathroom was a little rank, but that’s typical. The hostess inadvertently sprayed us while cleaning the adjoining table, but they were very busy. Like it — will def be back.

The food was ok but I wouldn’t go back to the restaurant the service was less than average. Our waitress was running around & not serving us properly. We ordered a cappuccino she bought the cup without the plate under it!!! I’ve never seen a restaurant serving their coffee this way. They did not care about the presentation.

This place is so yummy! I’ve never had anything I didn’t love here. Appetizers, bread with olive oil and garlic(delish!), entrees, dessert — everything is spot on. Their portions are huge — enough to share an entrée. My all time favorite is their chicken florentine. Everything on their menu is delicious but I’ve never had chicken florentine as good anywhere else so it’s nearly impossible for me to order anything else while I’m there. The best part is that because their portions are ginormous, I have a whole ‘nother meal for the next day(or later that night? Lol) Definitely check them out!

I have been coming to Panullos for about 3 years and I have very mixed experiences. I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed them until now and it may be unfortunate because I used to really like coming here. I even used to like walking by just for the smell of it. Walking down park Avenue, even if I was blind I would know where Panullos was because of the amazing garlic smell coming from it. And on my last visit I realized that doesn’t happen any more. I’ve been here on dates, with family and friends, and as I write this review I realize how different it is each time I go there. Not that the menu is different, but the food tastes different. I remember taking that first bite and thinking«Mmmgood!», but no more. The dough dishes like pizza and calzones are good and consistent but there isn’t a whole lot to them. Not that it’s a bad thing. I enjoy simplicity as long as the food is good. One problem about the calzones is that you get a calzone the size of your forearm and a dipping sauce dish the width of a peanut butter cup. But my most recent visit I got the veal franko because it was on lunch special for $ 9.95 with a soup or salad. My friend asked the server if she liked the franko or the chicken parm better and she said«the chicken parm, definitely». So I asked her if the franko was bad and she said that it wasn’t her favorite and I shouldn’t get it if I’ve never tried sherry sauce before. Oh well, I’m an adventurous eater. So I told her I would get that with the salad bar. The salad bar is inside by the kitchen. The dishes are in the«chiller» by the greens. I put quotation marks because the chiller was basically just a cooler with a lid, I don’t think it was turned on. The lettuce in the larger bowl was that prechopped bagged kind and looked like it had seen better days. It couldn’t have been out that long because it was only noon when we ate there. So I opted for the spinach instead. They actually had a pretty good selection of toppings, I just wish the area was taken care of a bit better. This isn’t the first time I got the salad bar and the lettuce looked like that on previous visits as well. We got our entrees right as I returned with my salad so I didn’t really get a chance to eat it. My veal franko wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. The entire dish was bland and lacking in seasoning. Even just a little salt would have helped. The sauce, pasta, veal, all of it was just kind of there. I was hungry so I ate it but my friend and I ended up switching because her marinara sauce had huge pieces(I mean whole plum tomatoes) scattered through her sauce and she specifically asked if there was chunks in the sauce. I personally liked it, but it wasn’t my order. I just think that somewhere over the years, Panullo and his staff just stopped caring. It’s not bad, it’s just not good. It’s like when you’ve had a long relationship and one day you kiss the other person and you know they aren’t really trying to impress you anymore and you just don’t feel it. So you have to break up. Sorry Panullos, it’s not you, it’s me. Oh wait, it is you.

So disappointing… Being part Italian I feel its necessary I find the great spots in town for whenever I need my fix. I really had hope for this place… a lot of hope! Venue: Pannullos is a store front indoor outdoor patio style restuarant. I really like the set up outside and the décor on the inside. The seats are super comfy and there doesn’t seem to have a lot of traffic so we walked in and were directed straight to our nearest table. Our server was sweet and got our drink order in right away and promptly took our food order. Food: The menu sounds delicious. They have plenty of different options for the hardcore italian or even the pickiest eater. You can add a side salad or soup onto your meal and pick one of their delicious sounding appetizers. I ordered the Italian Sampler which was the chicken marsala or chicken franco, served over linguine with a stuffed shell marinara. We also chose the option of adding on the salad bar. Problem #1: The salad bar was basic, ice berg lettuce with a small bowl of spinach leaves next to it to help green up your plate. A few salad toppings here and there some of which looked like they had been from yesterday’s left overs. It was mediocre at best. Problem #2: We ordered sweet teas and water… and you definitely need the water. The tea was over sweetened. Comparable to running through the McDonalds line. Problem #3: The meal. Our plates arrived relatively quickly so I am assuming they mass produce the meals in the back and probably gave us their first batch because it was around 11:30am when we chose to dine-in and they opened at 11a. The chicken was bland and at first bite you couldn’t taste any flavor. The sauce had somewhat of a after taste but not a pleasureful one. The mushrooms were cooked well but they had the same flavor. Still hopeful I tried the linguini and it had this weird lemon after taste that almost turned my stomach. My last hope being the stuff shells also fell short, the shell wasn’t cooked long enough and was kind of chewy. The sauce it came with was very bland and almost tasted right out of the can. Service: I commend our waitress and the chef. We decided to return our food and ask for something else but couldn’t find anything on the menu that could save our lunch hour. The waitress tried giving suggestions and even the chef came out to apologize for our experience and gave his personal suggestions. We decided to leave instead of wasting anymore of our time or theirs. Overal: I hate giving bad reviews but I don’t like my time being wasted with bad food. I would only reccomend this place if you want some wine. Its a pretty venue and you can’t go wrong with wine bottles. You could probably have a nice happy hour on the patio or at the indoor bar BUT I would not recommend this place for food. They did a great job creating the menu and all of the savory descriptions but now I think they need to take some time and work on the actual product. Sorry Pannullos… this didn’t hit the mark.
