Live music and a great beer selection. Great location with great views. Service was really warm and very knowledgeable. I will definitely return.

I recently went to Shipyard with about 12 other people– and they were very accommodating for such a large group. I had an amazing blueberry beer which was delightful– also tried the beer flight which is like 4 different glasses of different beers. Tasted great and I liked it. For food– the spinach dip was so gooooooood. We loved it! I had the turkey and brie sandwich with cranberry sauce and it was truly delightful, my boyfriend had the Ruben and he really liked it as well. Our waitress was so patient and sweet with us and really handled the whole situation well! This place even had connect four outside as a life sized game!!!

Oh god, my arteries are still recovering. The buffalo chicken dip is amazing, though not exactly the picture of health. I ordered a three-dip selection and felt terrible for the other two dips that had to attempt to stand up to the buffalo chicken dip — the spinach dip faired okay, but the hummus truly paled in comparison. Sorry, hummus. I can also endorse the lobster roll here — while on the pricy side, my photo attests to the fact that you get a respectably sized roll and it is fresh and just slightly mayonnaised. Again, like most lobstah rolls in orlando, it seems to be BYOOB(bring yr’ own Old Bay :)) The beer selections are decent but I still hold a grudge from the trip I took here in 2010, on my birthday, in search of their rumored bacon beer, only to find it crudely crossed out from the menu as it had run out. Also, valet(ugh). But that buffalo chicken dip does get me back there on occasion.

I have been here numerous times and love it! I almost always go right when they open on Saturdays after shopping and walking around the winter park farmer’s market which is not very far. The parking lot is rather small and during special events it is always blocked off. They offer valet during those times and there is plenty of parking in the area but it does require a little walking. They offer an amazing beer selection on draft and bottle. I enjoy ordering the beer flight which allows me to taste four different beers for the price of one. They also offer some tasty wines if you prefer. The service is always friendly. I love the food also. I have tried the flat bread which is really good. I recommend the pot roast flat bread which is phenomenal. I also really enjoy the mussels/oysters and the mac and cheese! They have weekday happy hour which includes drink and food specials worth checking out. At times there is a line to use the bathroom since there are only two bathrooms. The pub and bathrooms are kept very clean and have good lighting.

I did not know that they had their store/restaurant up in Winterpark, fl. If you are up there and are a fan of their beers, this is a must-go-place to visit. We only went for beers that night but they have an extensive food menu at reasonable prices. As for the beers, my favorite must be the blueberry, even though I am big pumpkin flavor gal. You can purchase most beers you like in their store for about $ 10 a pack. I certainly did that! :)

Just remember Stella!!! No, not from the movie… she was our awesome waitress, mind you that just started the job a few days before we got there. She made our 5 star experience… a 5 plus! Stella knew about all the menu items, and beers. We decided to go with a flight of beers so that we could sample them all(between the two of us) I have to say that i am very impressed by the Sleepy Hollow, I forgot what two beers they were, but just get it! The food was also excellent… This is a welcome addition to Winter Park. i can’t wait to go back.

I have been by here about 4 or 5 times and this place has yet to let me down. Off the regular menu I have had the flatbreads, pot roast sandwich, and meatball sub. They were all pretty tasty. The charcuterie and cheese plates are pretty great to share as well. They have a nice selection of shipyard beers and flavored sodas. One of the best times to visit is during the fall. In the fall you get the wonderful pumpkin beers and a myriad of pumpkin inspired dishes. They frequently have a special brew that you can get for a limited time. Check facebook for what they are featuring. Finally, we recently attended one of their beer cruises. It was nice and relaxing. This is a great place to have in winter park.

3.5 stars for Shipyard. First, I have to say we came here for drinks only. After absolutely stuffing ourselves up the street we stopped in to check the place out, well, and to use my Groupon. I love the Beer Flight– for $ 6 you can choose four different beers to sample. I tried the Smashed Blueberry which was the brew of the day. And although it was a dark beer it was just sweet enough, with a hint of chocolate, to be delicious. Out of the other three there was one I definitely didn’t care for, so I had my husband finish it for me. The place is bright and casual. When we arrived there was a disgusting smell of burnt pizza in the air. I’m glad we ate before! They have a deli counter and small market. I wish the market was bigger/better– it was stocked mostly with wine. I guess I’d expect a brewery to have more… beer? Snacks to go with the beer? Crazy, I know. The service was a little spotty. When you could grab a bartender they were friendly enough. They seemed to be a little too relaxed. I noticed a group of them hanging out and drinking the merchandise while we waited for their attention. I thought the Mug Club was just genius. Pay an annual fee($ 50 initiation, $ 40 renew) and they will keep a blue mug with your number on it. When you come in you’ll get a little extra beer(the mug is bigger than the glasses) for free. If we lived closer I could see us taking advantage of this great marketing idea. I think the coolest thing about Shipyard is never knowing what kind of beer you are going to find that day. –Parking is limited but they offer free valet

My blogging partner posted about Shipyard on our site not too long after it opened, but oddly enough yesterday was my first experience there. I have to say it was quite enjoyable, not only because I had a couple of beers but also because my meal was delicious! I had the meatball sandwich, which was quite large(took half of it home for leftovers). I would definitely order it again on a future visit. The ONE little thing I will request when I do order it, is to have the mushrooms left off — I like mushrooms but found it a bit odd to have them on a meatball sandwich. I will definitely agree with my pal April that the parking for this place sucks! It’s in such an odd spot, though, that I’m not quite sure what the expansion options are.

I tried this place on a friend’s recommendation when we met up for lunch and was not disappointed! My friend Jen raves about«The Rollie» here, which is a grilled cheese sandwich on multigrain bread with multiple types of cheese melted in between, including goat cheese and cheddar. We decided to come so she could get her favorite sandwich, while I perused the menu for my own lunch entrée. Our server was great from the start, very attentive and polite. When I asked for extra lemon with my drink(this seems to be a test for servers), she immediately brought them out… plenty of them! She was also on top of refilling drinks and getting us anything we needed at all times. We started out by ordering the clam chowder. We received a decent-sized bowl with a side of oyster crackers. The soup was very good and had delicious, tender, fresh clams inside. I would recommend it. While my friend ordered The Rollie for lunch as per usual, I decided to try the Knife and Fork Meatball Melt. This was actually the only thing I didn’t like at Shipyard. The meatballs were super salty, to the point where I didn’t feel like eating much of them. I tried to find away around the salty taste, but I couldn’t escape it. Other than that, though, my experience was great. I will definitely come back and try something different in the future. :)
