Rita’s Ice Custard Happiness

Maybe I am bias because I am from where Rita’s is from, Philly, but this is the very best water ice I have ever had. And by water ice, you Floridians you, I mean Italian Ice. So that Jeremiah’s you guys worship so much, doesn’t even show up on my radar when I am in the mood for some ice cold flavored ice.
Rita’s has a ton of flavors they work with. My favorite thing about them is that in the fruit flavors, there are little pieces of the fruit. Example, one of my favorites, cherry, is so fresh and delicious and has small chunks of cherry! NOM NOM NOM I also adore their vanilla and when they have both on hand, I love to mix them.
So, next time you are wanting something refreshing, Be Cool Eat A Rita’s!!!

Swedish Fish Italian ice, need I say more.
Last year Rita’s introduced this flavor and it was only around for a month, so I stopped coming here.
My hubby and I decided to go in last night (a friend suggested the cotton candy Italian ice. Yuck.). I asked the manager if they were ever going to bring back Swedish Fish and he responded «when do you want me to make it?». I stopped by tonight and there it was.
Delish… If you like swedish fish candy, you will love the Italian ice.

Frozen custard? Holy Moly, it’s delicious. It is soooo thick and creamy. It blows frozen yogurt and soft serve out of the water. They serve it solo or with flavored ice (Gelatis). YUM!!! Service is friendly. Store is clean.
