Tomasino’s Pizza

I have been going here for lunch and received BAD SERVICE today. I ordered the lunch special with meat sauce. I was told that I would not have to pay anything extra since it was meat sauce not MEATBALLS. The cook came out who claimed to be the manager and said, «meatballs aren’t free.» He was very rude and condescending about the whole situation. Tomasinos lost a customer (who USED to recommend this restaurant) over $ 3.99.

Had a great first time experience here. Food was great… ordered a calzone and it was delicous. The desserts were delicious also. Everyone was super friendly and nice.

Just tried Tomasino’s today for lunch and we loved it!
My boyfriend and I are both from the north (New York and New Jersey) so we are picky about our pizzas! Tomasino’s is as close to NY/​NJ pizza that you will get here in Central Florida.
We had the Margherita Pizza (18 inch of course). It has fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, and a balsamic drizzle. It was baked to perfection and oh so good.
The only minor issue is the prices. It was $ 25 for the pie and a drink. It’s definitely worth a splurge though.

Was so excited to try this place out after reading the raving reviews on Unilocal.Boy was our excitement quickly turned into disappointment! We ordered delivery and got a calzone, a stromboli, wings and garlic knots.
Delivery was quick enough (about 60 minutes) and the delivery boy was quite pleasant. The food though left so much to be desired. Both the stromboli and calzone came soggy. We asked for light on the cheese and well done and I don’t think they bothered with the request. The wings were decent enough, but were cooked in older grease. We also asked for this «WET» and got a side of sauce instead. The garlic knots that everyone raves about… we’re not sure what we’re missing here. They were huge, covered in cheese and there was no fresh garlic to be found. I think it only had garlic powder. Papa John’s garlic knots may be better.
Overall, we were highly unimpressed. Will try their sit down and provide an updated review after we do, but delivery is not their strong suit. Oh well… still looking for decent wings on delivery.

Just moved here from NJ and I asked my fb group «I live in winter springs» who has the best pizza around that would remind you of up north and ⁴⁰⁄₆₀ people said this place… I love it!!! It’s sooo good and excellent customer service. I am so happy!!! All the ingredients are real and authentic. Thanks guys!!!

Family style booths and lots of great choices here. My husband and son in law did their challenge and it was so much fun. They didn’t finish, but it was a blast watching them try to eat that stuffed pizza (one for each of them). We got to take it home and finish what they didn’t.
They’re a family owned business. They love their customers and are friendly and create a wonderful atmosphere for their patrons.
We are fussy and I must say their pizza is delicious!

Excellent pizza! Just moved here from the NorthEast US and wanted true New York Style Pizza — they delivered! Will definitely make this a routine pizza night for our family.

Lots of pizza choices. Why do some thrive and some barely survive? For me, taste, value, atmosphere and staff are the keys to my desire to return. Tomasino’s exceeds my expectations in all the areas. «Welcome to the family» is their greeting as you enter. I love that the staff is eager to forge a relationship, remember your beverage preference and you feel truly welcome! Butcher’s Pie is awesome, meat topping pizza but not over powering. Garlic bread is addictive. Small facility, expect to have a short wait, but we’ll worth it.

Great pizza and garlic knots, always fresh salads. The staff is awesome — friendly, quick and efficient. We love you guys!

Tomasino’s is HANDS DOWN the best pizzeria in all of Orlando — Florida — THE WORLD! Their pies are the closest match to NY Pizza that we’ve found in 20+ years in Central Florida and the owners/​employees at Tomasino’s are truly all family. They’ve come to know us by name and always go above and beyond in customer service.

As a first time walk in guest myself and my girlfriend both enjoyed the very pleasant staff and the really cool t shirts they were wearing. The food was very abundant and very delicious. We highly recommend this little Italian joint to others.

There pizza is pretty darn good! I’ve never had anything bad from here — pizza, calzone, subs, wings — everything has been excellent. Their eggplant pizza is amazing, as is their chicken parm, and all other specialties. The only downside is that they are are kind of expensive.
The cheesecake leaves room for improvement. I know Junior’s is world famous, but I’ve had it from their NY location and from Tomasino’s who has it shipped in, and neither knock my socks off. The regular with strawberry topping is a million times better than the Nutella one though. I’d never get hat one again.

Great food… IF you want to wait an hour for delivery OR, if you’re lucky, they «loose» your order.
Good food, bad service. That kind of thing won’t last long in this neighborhood.

I love Tomasino’s. Everything they make is 5 stars. I have had their pizza many times, their calzones are great, I especially am fond of the garlic knots, and was really surprised that their wings are amazing! They have great lunch specials too but the place is REALLY small so we usually do take out. It is not the closest pizza place to our house so we don’t always come here but after a few mediocre pizzas from other places, I always come back here for the best!

Two large slices with extra cheese. 15 minutes later I ask the waitress if she could check on my order… the waitress brings me two good looking slices that were black as night on the bottom. I was the only person there at lunch time. Hmmmm. Oddly I heard the cook say to her prior to bringing them out «just bring them out and see what he says»
I said «these are clearly burnt… right? «Why would you deliver food you knew and he knew was burnt? You work for tips right? Your the last chance for quality control. I heard you guys talking and you both knew these were burnt. Black as night the entire bottom. She says «so do you want me have him make you two more?» Didn’t want a refund or replacement. $ 8 lesson was cheap I figure. Just got up and left the slices on the table with the waitress looking at them and me oddly. Never been back from months ago and never will.

I have been pleased with the how the owner of Tomasino’s, Jonny, has handled this situation. He made immediate contact with me, apologized, and asked for a opportunity to make things right. I am happy to report that my latest experience was everything it should have been and more ! The pizza was awesome and the employees did everything right ! I will continue to use Tomasinos as my go to pizza establishment once again.

Well… first time here. Will NOT be the last! Lunch deal of 2 slices and a drink for under $ 10 is deal. Slice size is large but so good I had to order a 3^rd slice. Sure tasted fresh and staff was warm and welcoming. You’ll be hard pressed to find any better. 4 large and 2 small booths for dine in. Really, really, really good ! More than pizza but that will be another review.

Best pizza place in the Orlando area. This place is so good that I came two days in a row. The services is amazing and so is the atmosphere! You have to come and see it for yourself. You pay for what you get? Not here, and I say this on a very good way!!!

A little pricey for delivery, but great for lunch. Order an antipasto salad and a large two topping pizza-you’ll have enough for at least 3 people to share.
Authentic, New York style thin crust, sauce is good. We’ll be back.
