Gaslite Restaurant and Lounge

My family and I (13 people) went there last Friday night for my Mom’s birthday. They sent out two bottles of champagne for us to start us off. Brooke was our waitress and she did an amazing job. We had a variety of steaks, pork shops, pasta, and wings and everything was fantastic. I don’t believe we had any left overs. They gave my Mom her choice of desert on the house. Thank you Gaslite for providing us a great time. We’ll be back!

Been there 2 times. Horrible service, waited way to long for a tiny, over cooked, and very expensive portion of gnocchi the first time. The second time I waited 45 mins for a med– rare steak which didn’t even have salt and pepper on it, they weren’t busy either time… extremely disappointed.

During the 3 years I lived in the area, I dined at Gaslite twice. As a steak lover, that is a sublte review of this place.
While it is one of the nicest «dining» facilities in a town of fast food options, I would rather take a trip to Pittsburgh or another relatively close town for dinner. The steaks here were bland and the accompaments lacked imagination. For the price, I expectred more.
The interior décor could use some updating, but the food is really the bigger issue.

I’ve ate there twice and both times the steak was terrible. The ribeye was water logged and bland would be the best way to describe it and the chicken marsala was equally as disgusting. Not a fan of the décor nor the carpet that’s on floor either.

We have been here 2 times with a group of friends, and we love the atmosphere, the food, and the friendly service. Their strip steak is fantastic! The Pick 3 appetizer dish was outstanding: Fried Zucchini to die for, Fantastic Raviolis, and great onion petals. They whipped up a creamy horseradish dip for me since it comes with red sauce for dipping. The others tried it and although they thought the red sauce was great, I couldn’t keep them away from the horseradish dip. They also served us Chips and Cheese Sauce with the appetizer trio. Awesome!
I also highly recommend the Christmas Cookie Martini-​yummy and quite potent. They assigned us 2 servers since there were 10 of us and they were outgoing and fun (they told me they were cousins). Our server was Emily and she was patient and very helpful with our selections. It is about a 50 minute drive for us, but it is worth it! We will be making the trip many more times, I’m sure.

Overall good food, and good service! During lent they have fish from Colemans, making Gaslight the perfect place for a Friday afternoon!

I ate a steak here; it was kind of tough and very disappointed since people had raved about it. Much better at a chain such as Outback. Since we have terrible choices in dining, I think people just don’t know enough to experiment outside the city limits. They should.

The Frankie burger was ok. The side of fries were just crinkle fries. I guess get the steak. Not impressed. Friendly staff though.

Killer steak. I mean seriously melt in your mouth tender and delicious. I don’t agree with the review that said to skip the mushrooms. They’re delicious. If you want a delicious meal, go to the Gaslite!

Amazing steaks. Tough to beat.
