Food is ok. Owner is really nice. If you go in and a older women with long dark hair is working. Just leave! I guess she is the only one there at times and she will finish what she is doing and will not greet you or say I will be right with you. You end up wondering is she going to help me or continue to ignore me. Feels very awkward when there is nobody there but you and her and she acts like you don’t exist.

The Cuban sandwich isn’t something that the Ohio Valley is well known for, but Scotties does it right! Although pricey, it’s worth every penny! High quality ingredients, built by hand right behind the clearly clean counter! Oh yeah, let’s not forget the ice cream. On today’s trip, elephant ear flavor was on the menu… I had to give it a try and I’m glad I did! This sugary sweet locally made treat is worth the trip from anywhere!

Great food, and it’s all homemade which makes it even better! There are some great flavor combos on the menu and everything we got was delicious. Owner is super friendly which made for a fantastic all-around experience. I would definitely recommend Scottie’s and I plan on coming back.

Very friendly people in small local deli. They sampled us some of their hot food which tasted really good. I tried the «hunkey» sandwich which was large and filling. (See other reviewers pic & desription). I thought it could be a wee bit hotter.
Another bud had a pulled pork bread bowl, while #3 had chicken and gravy over stuffing bread & mashed potatoes. I was able to taste both & found them very flavorful and worth grabbing if stopping in. Picked this place while passing through from other Unilocalers. Glad we did…

I really like the sandwiches from here. While somewhat pricey, they don’t skimp on the meat. I personally enjoy the Cuban. I will continue to patronize this shop.
