We bought a very nice sectional set. Just after the warranty expired, the seams began splitting and the back cushions deflated. We spoke with AnnMarie who informed us how sorry she was but there was nothing they could do to help us. Recently, we damaged 2 of the seat cushions. I spoke with the owner Mr. Hansen who said they would gladly send replacements… which I greatly appreciated. Now nearly a month later, I get an email from AnnMarie saying she needs pictures before they can order the cushions. Mr. Hansen said pictures were NOT necessary. Wish I had known weeks ago that the order was never placed. Now Matt Hansen won’t even return my phone calls. What happened to customer service and standing behind your merchandise? The sad part is we have spent thousands of dollars here over the years and you would THINK the company would want to keep us. Guess not! Very sad and disappointed!!! So Matt DID get the cushions ordered and provided them free of charge for the inconvenience. I truly appreciate it! Thank you. Now if I can just get a response about the split seams. Matt said they should NOT be splitting like that. I sent him about 10 pictures of the deflated back cushions and split seams. Once again, no response. When I had a problem with our Dining Room set many years ago, my phone call was returned immediately and a new table top was sent a few weeks later. That’s why we kept coming back. He HAS my pictures. What should I do now? Still haven’t heard back from Matt about the split seams on our sectional, Leslie. I sent the pictures as requested but NO response. This makes me sad to see all of the negative reviews. We have bought several pieces that have been amazing. What upsets me is that I’ve gotten in contact with a couple of other people who bought this couch and have the same problems — splitting seams and deflating cushions. Are you willing to make it right, Leslie? Is Hansen’s willing to stand behind the furniture they sell? I know Mr. Hansen(senior) did. I’m not asking for much. Just would like the couch repaired so I can enjoy it once again. Will you help me, Leslie?

Avoid this place. 3 years ago I purchased a sofa. They talked us $ 1,000 over our very tight budget, so we could get a sofa and love seat made from durablend which would be «very durable for our two boys». The manager, who was our salesman at the time, also talked us into getting a warranty. Everyone was happy. Fast forward a year and a half, the couch starts tearing EVERYWHERE. The entire outside material is ripping away. Good time to use our warranty, right? Wrong. They won’t cover this. After months of battling, Hansen’s agrees to have the back reupholstered at no cost. Low and behold, 6 months later it happens again. This time when I call they conveniently can never find our purchase history. I’ve asked COUNTLESS times to speak to the owner. The owner called us back once but we missed that call. Haven’t heard back since. Either the owner is avoiding is or our messages aren’t being relayed. It’s despicable, at best, to sell a shoddy piece of furniture to a middle class family of four scraping together to get a couch. They can’t stand by their employees or quality. Now we’re out $ 2,000 and can’t afford a new couch. We’re stuck with an embarrassing eyesore.
