Another trip to the Wisconsin Dells and our first stop… Aloha Hawaiian Shop. We LOVE this store! Fun, fun, fun, but a tough decision on what to purchase. I just want it all! Love the music that plays too. Mahalo, :D

During last summer’s trip we stopped in to this shop. It was not the kind of store I expected to find in the Dells, but it was totally fun. What I found particularly impressive is that they had plus-size clothes. In fact, I got a beautiful batik dress here that fit really well. There were some interesting Hawaiian package goods and really cute jewelry. If you see this store, stop in for a nice tropical oasis in the heart of Cheeseland!

The Aloha Hawaiian Shop at the Wisconsin Dells is something that interested me when I started looking up touristy things to do and whether or not souvenirs were involved. As soon as I saw this, it caught my eye and I bookmarked it and had planned to check this place out as soon as I got to the Dells. Located in the downtown Wisconsin Dells area on Broadway Ave /Hwy 13, it’s nestled in the heart of the shopping district of the Dells. With good reason too. Plenty of souvenir shops are headquartered here along with food and restaurants. I am born and raised in Hawaii, so any outpost of Hawaiian life outside of Hawaii always is a draw for me. I visited the Dells just to see it and found this shop in the downtown area of the Dells, while shopping for souvenirs. As soon as I stepped in here, I was instantly transported into the heart of Waikiki. Island music was blaring from speakers as I looked around the copious amounts of island wear and island memorabilia. I swear I was actually in Waikiki for a good 10 minutes before stepping out of the store and realizing that I am in Wisconsin — of all places. The store is a cute vestige for all things Hawaiian. The store owner is from the islands, so that made me feel at home a bit, even if we were in Wisconsin. There’s mostly clothing that is there for purchase and other Hawaiian heirlooms and accessories that remind me of home. It’s nice that there is this outpost of Hawaiian life in Packer country. I kind of miss home at the moment, but I do love to travel. Plenty of stuff you can find readily available in Waikiki, if you are there, but in Wisconsin, best believe that this is genuine authentic Hawaiian stuff. Prices are good here. If you need anything Hawaiian, this place is your best bet. You’ll be craving to go to Hawaii after coming over here. The warm inviting breezes await you. :-) Support local! A+

I absolutely adore this shop. We frequent Maui and the islands often and this is a little piece of Aloha out in the Midwest. Authentic Hawaiian wear, souvenirs, and gifts at good prices. It’s like a Hilo Hattie for the mainland. The owners/staff are friendly and knowledgeable(I believe they are originally from the islands), and I always make sure to stop in whenever we’re in the Dells.

I’m going to go ahead and say that this is Wisconsin’s premier alohawear and hawaiian gift shop. You got a backyard luau coming up? They’ve got you covered. Aloha shirts, sundresses, party supplies, decorations, snacks, leis, Hawaiian music cds, you name it.
