This place isnt bad at all. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. They allowed alcohol on the premise and even has a cooler with cold drinks for you to buy. They gave us a few free booklets with discounts and deals. The room was very spacious. I am used to hotels/motels where the end of the bed and dresser had only like a foot or two but nope… there was plenty of space there. As well as a good section for the couch/pull out couch with a good size coffee table. And a little area for the table to eat. The bathroom wasnt too cramped and there was instant hot boiling water if you like it that way when you shower. The parking wasnt too bad. I basically just left my car at the motel but it does look like it could be bad. However, there was still a few spots left at the end of the day. The bed was comfortable and spacious. The only issue I would have about this is that it is a little far from the strip which can be a good and bad thing. I like that it is far so you are away from all the noise and commotion. But it also sucks since we walked down the strip two days out of the weekend so that was a little fun. The TV seemed to have plenty of channels. The AC worked when it wanted I think. There were times it was quiet so I dont know if it was on, other times, it was a roaring like a lion. I did wake up almost sweating for some reason. But then half an hour later, I was freezing so that was a little odd.

We have been to Ambers Hideaway for two years around spring break. We were referred by family who had been coming for about 5 years now. We came with family and booked three rooms. There was a misunderstanding within our group and an extra room was booked. As soon as we were told this we automatically asked how they would be able to help. I assumed she would charge us a deposit but not the full two nights we booked! The owner was unwilling to work with us in any way at all. She was very rude and insisted she did nothing wrong. Which is correct none of this was their fault it was our miscommunication, however he lack of customer service was shocking. Any other hotel would have worked with their customer. Especially since we had three rooms. And the fourth just sat there unused. We will never return here and will no longer refer others sadly. It’s too bad they don’t know how to keep their customers.
