Plain and simply once Wyndham has your money via a time share purchase customer service goes out the window. They do not meet check in times, there are always hidden incremental fees. Stay away!!! Buyer beware! You will regret your purchase.

Home away from home!
We had planned a trip to the Dells but did NOT want to join the masses in town, so we stayed here and we were grateful that we did. From the grounds to the two-​bedroom townhouse we were in, clean clean clean — not a thing out of place. Full kitchen/​dining room and a full bath w/​jacuzzi tub adjacent to the master bedroom upstairs. Second bedroom had two twin beds w/​tv/​dvd player w/​large closet. Two fireplaces; one in living room and the other in the master bedroom. Tamarack is located in Lake Delton which is approximately 10 minutes from the strip and 5 minutes from Walmart Supercenter. Living in Chicago, it was a welcoming thing to hear the nature around us during the day or on the private patio at night. The price was perfect and NOT sharing our vacation with the masses at a hotel in town was simply divine! The outdoor pool area was well manicured & clean. Customer service was good and accommodating. Wifi was not so great but what the heck. We recommend this highly. Our unit had NO BEDBUGS.

My family and I ended up staying here with a Groupon deal. We had the 3 nights in a one bedroom for $ 219 bargain. The place is well worth the bottom-​dollar discount. My one sentence summary of the property: average Wisconsin Dells accommodations off the main strip, with a good service staff but dated units.
They also offer discounted tickets to Kalahari and local restaurants– a nice perk. This location is one exit north of the main Wisconsin Dells strip. I personally don’t care much for the kitschy Wis Dells vibe, and all the tourist trap stuff turns me off. My kids, however, love water parks and everything Wisconsin Dells has to offer. This place was a nice middle ground for us. The staff at the front desk are so friendly– it’s really pleasant to experience that Wisconsin hospitality. The proof they were genuinely nice? They remembered my kids the next day when we stopped in to buy discounted water park tickets. Condo unit was OK.
We had a fully furnished kitchen/​one bedroom unit. The bedroom was decent, the sofa sleeper in the living room needs to be replaced. It was flat as a pancake and you could feel every wire in the mattress. The overall furnishings were pretty basic, but they served our purposes as a family with young kids just fine.
The property is pretty cool– there’s a lakefront, playground, indoor and outdoor pools, and a workout room. Overall? I’d definitely recommend for anyone with a family if you want to get away from the Water Park scene at night. The condos are clean, well maintained, and comfortable, if a bit dated. I would certainly come and stay here again next time I am in the Dells

BED BUGS!
This was our second time returning to tamarak and my family enjoys all of the activites it has to offer. The lobby is beautiful with a large pool and kitty pool that my 2yr old loved. There was a decent fitness area and a huge gym along with a play area for younger kids with books, toys, tv and more !
However, this will be our last time staying here. About a week after returning home i got bit with a bed bug. Comes to find out i brought it back from the resort … Sooo disgusted i spet 1,200 $ on bed bug exterminator what a joke ! Ive never had bed bugs or even seen one a day in my life before staying here. Also the units themselves have many problems that need to be fixed. The water from the shower leaked threw the wall to rhe kitchen and the water was never hot. Dont stay here !

Winter in WI can be cold – and that it is this December. –4 this morning. Brrr. However, our townhouse unit and the activities center give a warm place to enjoy the beauty of Wisconsin and the Dells area in the off season when we are not out exploring.
Our drive here from NE Iowa brought us through scenic SW WI past the Frank Lloyd Wright house and The House on the Rock – easy hour or so day trip away. We were very pleased with our accommodations. 2 BR (one has twin beds, one w/​king bed – it’s a townhouse they are upstairs), 2 bath, w/​d, gas FP, and as an end unit in the building we have windows on 3 sides (nice). Unit Is in good repair, though carpets are worn, and it is nicely furnished and supplied with most kitchen necessities.
Activity center is warm and welcoming. Not as expansive or as deluxe as I have seen, but with a friendly and welcoming attendant, indoor racquet ball court, fitness room, indoor tennis and basketball hoop, pool, locker room, towels, hot tub, rec room, wi-​fi, computers, it more than meets our needs.
In the week between Christmas and New Year, we are having a restful, relaxing and quiet (though COLD this week) trip away. I’d come back!

I would give this place 3.5 stars. It’s a nice resort, has activities during the week days, on the quieter side for the Dells, and the suites are VERY nice. But the staff is not very friendly. We checked in later in the evening, and the two woman at the front desk were not pleasant at all. Then, the next day we rented a movie from the front desk, and that woman must have not known what customer service was either.
I would definitely stay here again, I just wouldn’t expect friendly service.
