Coachmens Steakhouse & Lounge

It can be fun (or terrifying) to stop at restaurants like this in very small towns. This is a family friendly place which on a Saturday night had a steady stream of business. The food was average and we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the menu– pretty good selection. I would maybe avoid the salad bar though… We ordered burgers and a taco salad for me. We didn’t have high expectations so we were satisfied. Our family of 4 plus 2 cocktails ate for $ 24.50! Who can beat that?!? Might want to avoid the bathroom unless you enjoy a shower curtain as a stall door (no joke) but it only adds to the ambiance of the place. Oh and be sure to check out the back wall which houses photos of local students, business leaders, etc.

For the love of god, just keep driving. I don’t care how hungry you are… do not stop here; you can make it to the next town. I can’t even bring myself to give details… I’ll become both angry and nauseous. I do grant them one star for having a bowling alley.
