I am very upset with this Dolly’s location right now. We ordered our food online for delivery at 5:00pm on 11/​22/​2013. We waited over an hour for our food. We decided to call and see what the problem was, at which point they told us, «Well, the order was a jumbled, so we just didn’t fill it.» Not only did they not fill our order, they did not even attempt to contact us to let us know someone was wrong. They had no problem taking our money, though.
To their credit, when we called, they did waive the delivery fee and give us a free two-​liter, but it is absolutely unacceptable that we were charged for food, and they weren’t even planning on letting us know it was never coming to us. This is terrible customer service, and it needs to be fixed.
Rating two stars for their willingness to try and make up for their awful mistake.

I stopped at Dolly’s on Wixom Rd. yesterday to get pizza while driving back to northern Michigan (I use to live downstate and believe that Dolly’s pizza is the best pizza in the Detroit metro-​area). The food was, as expected, EXCELLENT! Service was a little longer than I wanted but after speaking to the new owner, I found out that the business was short staffed when most of the employees he inherited (with the business he just bought) called in off of work leaving him severely understaffed on a very busy Friday evening. I highly recommend this restaurant for great pizza, grinders and salads. The owner and the staff there were exceptionally nice and accommodating to give their customers the best service under stressful work conditions. I definitely will return to that restaurant on my next trip to the Detroit area.
