I’m really pleased with all the complex has to offer. A great bar and restaurant inside with a stocked menu of good food and great drinks. Outside in the main lobby is a fully stocked snack bar with good food, great fountain drink and coffee choices. The staff are very friendly and do a wonderful job of scheduling the games to maximize the boys playing times and keeping the games going back to back with minimal delays. They have 3 full size 11 vs 11 fields that are in excellent condition. The location in the city of Wixom is really nice and has plenty of things to do in the area between games. The web site is user friendly as well and makes the weekly game information readily available. Come and check the place out and see how the pros do it.

When my son’s soccer coach informed parents that we’d be playing our indoor sessions for his travel soccer club at Total, I assumed he meant the indoor soccer place on Utica Road. You know, the one about 10 minutes from our house. Great, I thought to myself … while the fields are kinda small and boarded, at least it’ll be a short drive. Then he added that it was the complex in Wixom. Oh … Wixom? … I think I heard the suv and my wallet groan collectively. As it turns out, what a great decision by our coach. Total Wixom is an outstanding facility for a lot of reasons. First and foremost, from a soccer perspective, the fields are full-sized which allow the teams to play 11 v. 11 games and get a feel for where they stand competitively against other teams, train in formations they’ll be using in the spring, and practice distributing the ball in the same way they’ll distribute it in the spring when teams are outdoors. No complaints about the officiating either because while it’s a pretty thankless job, paying attention to the game isn’t always a quality refs at other places possess. So, for the soccer team, this place has been a great fit. Now, parents … there’s a little bar-n-grill type restaurant inside the complex which serves your basic sports bar menu and executes it pretty well. Burgers or dogs, a hoagie, cheese fries … all decent. One item I was surprised to see was a «Hummus Plate» which I ordered at our last visit. It was actually very good, with toasted pita bread and sliced cucumbers. I was very impressed. Outside the restaurant in the lobby there is a food counter, concession-style with soft pretzels, candy, pizza, bread sticks, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. Tables and chairs and a few upholstered chairs fill the lobby so it’s spacious, but has plenty of seating. On the bottom floor along with the soccer fields and food options there is a weight room complete with universal and free weights, treadmills, stationary bikes and other equipment. There are also areas for small sided soccer or baseball practice. Upstairs, there are batting cages(both baseball and softball) and other facilities we didn’t have time to investigate but what we did see was clean and well-maintained. Overall, I couldn’t be happier that we chose this place for our indoor session … I guess that’s why our coach makes those decisions and I do not!
